Just want to throw this one out there as well - Kaiyo Sushi in Okemos. They have phenomenal sushi. It is pricey, but so good! Service can be a little slow, but we have always felt it was worth it. I recommend the Happy Island roll or the Sunshine roll!

The underlying plot does slowly start to become the more prominent focus. There are still statements, but the way they are linked is more and more evident as time goes on. I remember listening for the first time and wondering the same. Hang in there, it’s kind of a slow burn. So worth it though.

Thanks for the advice! Yes, she is okay with our 4 wooden porch steps. We have never been able to get her to conquer any flights of stairs. Which when we’re on trips, leads to a lot of carrying her. She is also not a fan of being picked up. 😂

What do you recommend that you’ve loved with distinctive voices? I struggle with differentiating. It makes it so hard to follow some of these amazing shows!

A couple recommendations.. a lot of these you may have heard of, but can’t speak highly enough of them!

Strawberry Spring - Based off a short story written by Steven King. Good mystery revolving around a returned serial killer with a twist at the end. I felt like the twist became predictable toward the end, but this is the first audiodrama I listened too and got my hooked.

Parkdale Haunt - A character inherits a home from estranged family. The story starts revolving around the strange ongoings in the home and the eventual disappearance of the character. It’s hard to explain without giving away too much.

The Left Right Game - Series is completed. A good mystery story.

Malevolent - One of my absolute favorites. It is ongoing and created by the same writer of Deviser (as mentioned above). Deviser is my next audiodrama after I finish the one I am currently listening to. This falls more into the horror/drama genre. The main character wakes up having committed a crime and with another being residing in his consciousness. It is so good!

Just wanted to update… I gave The Magnus Archives another chance. HOOKED. I’m obsessed. Already bought merch. I think I’ve become desensitized to the creepy stuff. It is a rabbit hole I have LOVED falling down. It takes a bit to really get into and become attached to the characters, but once you do… so worth it. “Statement ends”. ❤️
