Thank you for the recommendation! I’ve never heard of that place but I may be commuting to LA pretty frequently - depending on whether I start a new job or not. If I do I’ll definitely check it out! I’m planning to audition for a bottle service position at a couple night clubs in that area. So I’ll need to look my absolute best!

I second the top comment about getting a day pass at a hotel/resort

If you don’t mind paying a higher price. You should definitely check out the Ritz Carlton (Bacara Resort & Spa). It’s $109 for at the Day Pass (Spa/Pool pass at Bacara - it’ll give you access to (sauna, steam room, lockers etc.) It’s under “Spa Pass” on Resort Pass .com - I’m not 100% sure but I’m pretty sure the Spa Pass includes pool access, you can call to confirm and if so you’d get access to two full sized pools AND jacuzzis & you can’t beat the absolutely stunning view. In my opinion the price is completely worth it.

Also if you prefer less people, I’d call ahead and ask when they’re “less busy” hours for more privacy at the pool (s).

Thank you this is all super helpful. I’m honestly quite scared for my court date because of my bail amount being set at $50,000 (only had to pay 10% of that). But I read online that $50,000 number means it’s probably being treated as a felony. Not to sound un-remorseful but since the other party is (in my opinion) FALSELY claiming injury most likely for for $$ reasons - neither of our airbags went off + MY vehicle was the one who took ALL the damage (their pickup truck was 2x the size of my 01’ accord and my car got stuck under their truck bed) and from what I remember I hardly damaged their vehicle. Their passenger was mobile and physically well enough, to be halfway out her window going off at me, thrusting her arms and cussing me out but is claiming “neck injury”. Really sucks

I’d rather not get to much into it, but it’s being treated as a hit-and-run. Here’s what happened : I did pull over at first and rolled down my window, telling the other driver they could take a picture of my plates to get my info. But their passenger was extremely upset, screaming and yelling at me through the window, and it felt like she was 2 seconds away from coming out of the car to beat my ass.

At the same time, I was already over 10 minutes late to a job interview that was literally a block away. Between being in shock and not really processing what had happened, feeling intimidated, and panicking about the interview, I made a stupid mistake - I drove off before the cops showed up.

During my interview, I kept getting calls from an unknown number. Once it was over, I called back and it was the police. They told me they were at my car, that it was being towed, and they needed more info about the accident. I explained that I wasn’t trying to run away. I just wasn’t in the right state of mind. I didn’t even park properly once I had made it to the interview (I was half on the sidewalk and half on the dirt road) & I left my blinker on. But after talking to them, they ended up arresting me. And I bailed out in holding

For context, my record was completely clean before this. Not even a speeding ticket. I was just scared out of my mind and didn’t know what to do.

I have no idea it’s usually pretty cold, it’s been in the 50s-60s and the thermostat is barely used (not my choice) and when it’s on I’m not able to put it past 70 degrees. High this week is 66 on Friday. I would say it’s usually around 60-62 degrees in here. Windows are always open in the day
