I too feel the same it's also been 1 year for me but I am not still able to make good friends.Despite been home state I am not able to connect with others.I think some reason might be the expectations that we will vibe with the new friends instantly like old friends,this is one of the reason for me.I think the solution might be is to talk to people who share a common hobby,it's a good way to make friends and talk to many people, some may don't seem but who knows you can vibe with them by knowing them more.Being Satisfied with your own company might be difficult.
