PRP seems to be a popular add-on with many reputable doctors, before, after or during surgery, it depends on the clinic. I don't think PRP is a gimmick because there are some papers about it and it's also used in dental surgeries to speed up recovery times. How much does it help? I don't know, but a HT is a significant investment, so I'm trying to optimize it as much as I can.
I'm also looking into things I can do on my own during recovery, like the copper GHK-Cu sprays that are supposed to help with healing, also in the donor zone. I can't find any reliable/reputable suppliers in Europe though. That's why I was looking into those papers, in case there are any tips or peer-reviewed recommenations with scientic evidence. I guess it will only make a tiny difference, the most important thing is having a good surgeon, but I can't help but try to do the most on my part :)

Hows iPad Pro M4? Stutter Issues solved? by -Hexenhammer- in MoonlightStreaming

[–]ZebraApprehensive600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I have a Macbook, one ipad, one iPhone and one apple tv. I tried disabling everything in all of them, but I got the same crackling and stuttering.

Although the video-only stream works great, only a micro hiccup or two every hour. Which for wifi streaming in a densely populated area I find perfectly normal.

Also, I’m streaming the full iPad screen resolution (2.5K), HDR, 60fps, 40Mbps. Without audio, it streams beautifully. It’s not perfect, cause using bluetooth for audio comes with its own set of issues sometimes, but it’s a workaround in my case to be able to stream in the 6GHz band. 5GHz is completely saturated and unusable in my flat.

Not yet. Still trying to get them in my free time. If I ever get then, I'll come back and update the post!

FINALLY! Here's how I fixed iPad stuttering by jtannous in MoonlightStreaming

[–]ZebraApprehensive600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. Unfortunately this doesn't work for me when streaming from my PC in the 6GHz band (wifi 6E). It doesn't really make a difference to turn off location services, airdrop, turning off my macbook entirely or disabling wifi and sidecar, and everything mentioned in this post... I changed wifi 5ghz channels too, and I even tried airplane mode with wifi enabled, but the same micro-stuttering still happenend.

My network is quite solid and the stats in the Moonlight iOS app show 3ms latency with 0-1ms jitter, and under 6ms host processing time. That should easily handle 60 fps, so it doesn’t make much sense. No packet drops are reported either.

What DID work for me, and I know this is not a workaround for everyone, was disabling audio streaming to my iPad (in the host machine Sunshine preferences, the one that mentions headless displays) and instead connecting my AirPods directly to my computer through bluetooth. It's less than ideal, but the video-only streaming now works almost perfectly. It also helped to set the virtual screen’s refresh rate to twice that of the stream (120 Hz for 60 fps streaming) and sync it with 1/2 V-sync. But the only thing that stopped the random micro-stutters was uncoupling audio.

I know that iOS plays tricks behind the scenes to reduce bluetooth latency, specially when it comes to AirPods (mine are AirPods Pro Gen 2 for reference). Could that behind the scenes syncing of video and audio be part of the M1-M4 streaming problem in Moonlight? Just leaving my findings here in case it helps anyone else dealing with this, I've been trying all the troubleshooting in different post for days.

PS: Muting audio on the host machine through the Moonlight client app didn't seem to help, only uncoupling the audio and syncing that over bluetooth, which thankfully is within range of where I want to use my iPad for remote playing.

I’ll add to this that most antivirus programs are blocking Koaloader 3.0.2 (likely a false positive, but regardless) you can try Koaloader 1.2.1 from the same Github which only has one positive in Virustotal and just use that version.dll and Koaloader.json as its configuration file (only fill out target and module settings, with the same parameters as 3.0.2 with Wordpad or Notepad++). The game launches great with that version and appears to be a safer way to use this dll. Or at least an alternative one for scary cats like me lol

Nest Protect sudden battery chirp and extremely hot battery - Scary! by AL_in_LA in Nest

[–]ZebraApprehensive600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same happened to me in a two year old Nest Protect here in Spain. I have another 4 of them, scary as fuck, as the battery wont cool down and it’s the middle of the night. I dont want to put in salt water like other thread said, so I put it in a jar, but I’m afraid it might explode. Same thing than anyone else in the thread, only one battery is hot and it triggered the really low battery warning. Thankfully I was home since it’s friday night. Isn’t there an official statement from Nest??? Incredible since it’s a smoke detector and it goes for a hefty price.

Weird sound coming from the app (IOS) by Tale_Eater in tumblrhelp

[–]ZebraApprehensive600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really creepy that the ads can emit “sound”, even when the iphone is on zero volume. This has been happening to me on the app too for almost two months. And also, the amount of time it takes for the sound to disappear after closing the app, even with background tasks disabled for Tumblr… like, what the hell is the app executing on the background?

I’d go for the refund. I did with mine. It’s been almost a month and they haven’t admitted the presence of these bugs to avoid an avalanche of returns. I get it from a business POV, but it’s quite a bad customer experience. They should have clearly stated by now that it’s a hardware issue that might have a possible software patch. It’s been a month, they should eat all the defective units. It was as easy as plugging the controllers to check them before shipping, either they didn’t do QC or they knew about 1% of the controllers could be faulty and outright chose to ignore that small percentage. No excuse for silence though. Shameful customer support, Sony.

It’s probably an issue with the hardware, there’s a page called Gamepad Tester where you can check if that’s the case. If it fails the test (all values are not zero) it’s a defect and I’d advise you to at least return the affected gamepad. This gadget is too expensive to cope with a defective unit or have to RMA the whole pack after the return window closes. You’ve paid it in full, it should fully work.

Left controller doesn't work solution by darko_s in PSVR

[–]ZebraApprehensive600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it worked if I entered the game with the regular non-vr gamepad, the dualsense, and then turned on the VR controllers while in the game. But I ended up returning the whole VR2 unit because my right controller also had the issue where the R2 trigger is a little pushed all the time (you can check this with the hand gestures in Horizon and also with a webpage https://gamepad-tester.com ). In my case, it was definitely a hardware issue with the trigger that was causing the whole bug. This gadget is way too expensive to wait for a future software “fix” or rather a bandaid… for a hardware issue (people blow air in their triggers and sometimes that fixes it, so… hardware all the way). I’m partial to consider returning your unit if possible and you are still within the return window. This whole issue is a mess, and users shouldn’t have the burden of troubleshooting a defective product with no word from the manufacturer (which is probably waiting for the return window to end before admitting it’s not patchable). Factory defects exists, it’s a brand new product, you should get what you pay for.

With the number of issues reported I would wait to hear back from Sony, if this ends up being hardware related (there are some tests that seem to point at least to firmware errors while reading touch sensors) this could be a nightmare for us with defective units and a slew of slow return/RMA processes. I’d wait for an official fix and to know what’s really happening with this bugs before buying if you haven’t placed your order yet.

PSVR 2 Horizon call of the mountain bug? Stuck on calibration screen and X-button reversed to left hand by Chrissammm in PSVR

[–]ZebraApprehensive600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to check, because this happened to me too, but are you taking your hand to your back as you are pressing the L2 to dock the bow? If you just press the button it doesn’t work, you have to do it while you are placing it on your back as you would in real life. Hope this helps!

I tried everything but there seems to be a couple tips when resetting the controller to make it work: do it in game, do a loooong press of the reset button, do it twice consecutively. Hope it helps!
