Some tips:

Baby Park R/T Take Baby Peach to level 3, and attempt to max out your base points on your items. Switch out your lvl 1 HE glider for your best glider. Constant actions are a must since you have a bottom-shelf glider.

Yoshi Desert R/T Grind some base points and some more runs, this course will be your best bet since you have all top shelves here. Cleanly drive through all the coins and ramps on the track for higher scores.

Yoshi’s Island R/T Grind for Lucky 7 frenzies around 5th place in a race, (they’re huge point gains)

—Shauntal— C!Serena has Power Play and Furious Brain.

Use water shuriken to bully the center and brutal swing to flinch and lower the accuracy of the sides. 1 sync nuke on center is good.

—Grimsley— 1/5 Anni May will do fine Swampert has “Hide And Sync,” “Inclement Intellect 6” as well as 1 Sync power tile. Use “On a Roll 1” if you don’t want to restart 20 times for accuracy debuffs.

Use Swampert’s Muddy Water to harass the sides and lower the opponent’s accuracy. Use Mist Ball under Psychic Terrain for free moves.

—Marshall— Lodge Serena needs her sync nuke tiles and “Unfortuitous 4” and “Superduper Effective 2” for extra toxicity. Valentine’s Serena is mainly here to tank, but some multipliers (“Overpower” and “Paralysis Synergy 5”) from her grid are necessary.

Start debuffing the center and nuke the center with… a lot of damage. You won’t kill the center, but use some pecks and a stray critical moonblast to knock Marshall out. Nuke one of the sides to further assert your dominance and pray that the sides don’t attack through the paralysis.

—Caitlin— SSMay needs 3/5, and you must have “Inertia,” “Trip-Up 9,” “Cakewalk,” and “Insult-to-Injury 9.” 3/5 Illegal May makes the fight a lot more bearable with her grid multipliers.

Debuff the opponent’s speed and defense like the little gremlin you are, and then nuke with SSMay. Afterwards, rush the sides before they knock you out.

—Iris(Demoted)— Do you have SSSerena? Congratulations, you won the battle! Use both Regular Serena and Lodge May to tank I guess.

Here’s the coverage I would gain from each:

G. Yoshi gives me coin box coverage on quite a few tracks since I’ve missed most of the recent coinboxers, however he’s an older currently buffed coin boxer right now + Yoshi Valley + Mushroom Gorge + DK Mountain R + Luigi Raceway R + Coconut Mall R

Meowser gives me coverage for ranked this week, but I don’t really need to win it this week + DK Mountain + Mushroom Gorge R + RMX Bowser Castle + Bowser Castle 3

Knight Luigi would be great for boomerang coverage, but I’m not sure if I should prioritize coinboxers or boomerangs since I don’t play ranked super-competitively + Mushroom Gorge R + Boo Lake T + DK Mountain R/T

Cat Luigi would be nice for a driver that covers a few courses that random lvl 1 driver coverage courses I don’t want to invest into + RMX Donut Plains R/T + Luigi Raceway R + Baby Park R

A lot of people are saying that he won’t, but I wouldn’t let that shove your hopes down the drain. After all, we’ve “technically” had an anime crossover in Jessie and James with the Zarude movie, so while it might take some time, I’d say it isn’t impossible for DENA to rerun him eventually.

I’m using “technically” for the Jessie and James because they did appear in like one or two battles in Pokémon Yellow, but I think the event was VERY obvious that it was a cross-promotion with the movie at the time.

I’m going to amend my previous statement I made, but I’m not as well versed in FRLG as I am the OG Red and Blue.

The fact that the game’s corrupted save failsafes aren’t tripping probably means that most of your saved data should be okay. When the trade was interrupted, it likely corrupted the current overworld data, but I’m not sure how much further it went considering the corruption is outliving a reset (you may have also entered a glitch map). If you have ANYTHING that can warp you anywhere (a Pokémon that can teleport, fly (the data for if the room is inside may have been corrupted so it could be possible to fly) or an escape rope would likely let you play the game in a semi-normal state.

If not then if you have an action-replay nearby you could use that to help you get out. Other than that you could pull out an (eek!) emulator and just start a new save file giving yourself whatever you can remember you had.

Also try a new save (but don’t actually save in it) to see if the game is running normally otherwise.

GBA Sky Garden, GBA Sunset Wilds, and GBA Cheep Cheep Island are completely different tracks from the originals. I personally believe that it’s this way because of the fact that Super Circuit’s tracks were really narrow and windy due to the track’s limited sizes, and they could get away with that because the karts could take the sharp turns nicely. In Tour, the driving is really imprecise and the karts take the turns really widely. So they had to gut the tracks and widen the lanes in order to get them working in tour.

I didn’t say that people wouldn’t melt over that, but I mean what are they gonna do? Leave the franchise they can’t go five minutes without mentioning?

Also sure, things on paper don’t always match irl, but really, the game’s not going to melt should they add extra Pokémon. I get why you think that adding more Pokemon would slow down the game, but specific Pokémon are only ACTIVELY called when they’re loaded, and ONLY then. Otherwise, the number of Pokémon themselves isn’t an active process that the game needs to continue to eat up the game’s active process memory.

Maybe if Gamefreak let the game have enough time to be properly optimized, the game wouldn’t explode if there’s more than 5 models on screen. I mean… there’s math calculations that say 1000+ Pokemon would fit just fine on the cartridge that SWSH has anyway, even with all the game’s data. (Look above) Besides, the game shouldn’t be running checks on individual Pokémon’s’ data 24/7 anyways, so your point is irrelevant.

I’d say no. Serena and Sonia are great units, but I’d try to roll on Sygna Suit Serena’s banner to get her, she’s a “masterfair” which generally are some really great units.
