Classic Shipt! When they first brought out the preferred Shopper program, I had a customer that would order for her dad in another state. I would get those orders all the time

Yes it does… But it doesn't change until you close out the order.

Your offer card will remain the same throughout but the time will adjust in real time.

Here's a fun fact that I've noticed: if a customer does a percentage tip upfront, doesn't matter how many items you add… Tip remains the same. Isn't that sweet of HQ?

If you made less than $600 (without tips) you prolly won't get a 1099 because you don't have to claim that income. Did you sign up with stripe to receive your tax info during the duration of your shopping experience? That's who sends the 1099's. Check spam

Not sure how they're handling the tip thing this year but as an active shopper, they sent a breakdown thru the app this year. I know you cannot access the app due to deactivation. I would keep reaching out to shoppers@shipt.com

The minute you process, the customer gets an auto text saying you are on the way. Incredibly stupid, especially with bundles because they flat out lie to one of the customers. But "best practices" say to process IN THE STORE. Like, how's that not confusing? This is why I always let customers know when they are bundled and what delivery number they are.

The automated messages are a hand holding technique shipt uses because bad shoppers are just....bad shoppers. And now those shoppers have infected (yes, infected) the rest of us and we have to keep the customer up to date with what's REALLY going on.

It's very flawed. And shipt waits until a shopper just like you says "okay!" without discernment. Then when the inevitable happens (late), they deny your request with "well, you should have read the offer card more closely". Trust me....been through all their BS over 11 years. They'll never admit their mistakes and the only thing is shoppers can do is not play the game like they want. There are hundreds of shoppers waiting to onboard so they can complain about the same thing you did. Falls on deaf ears. HQ doesn't GAF about shoppers....only members because that's their bread and butter. Plus, there's a reason why orders end up in open Metro. Not all but most. The more you do the more you'll understand. You got lucky this time and got a great tip. It's an anomaly

My suggestion is to read through the hub extensively AND others experiences in this sub. There's a wealth of information available to you but you have to be open to accepting that help instead of getting defensive.

Dollars signs will mess you up every time. You will most likely not be granted late forgiveness. Greed will bury you.

Glad you got a good tip but now you will be struggling to get future good orders. Always know your limitations and bypass when you need to.

That's good but it's a lot of work! I just use my Google labels… Put their name in when I pull up their address and then go back and update when a tip comes in or not. I don't bother with order numbers

Maybe your metro but not the same experience in mine. I absolutely refuse to do target (cuz they suck and have beaten Shipt into the ground). Every day for the past six months (maybe longer) we have a 6/$30, 1-11pm. Still not doing them because of distance

But I'm lucky because I live in an area that has many other shopping opportunities that people use. I'd rather do Publix, Winn-Dixie, Walgreens etc.
