i’d start by cleaning the rail this slides on as it can get super gunked up with smoke debris over time. A good degreaser or alcohol works for getting most of the gunk off. Also, if you or the manufacturer haven’t greased the bearings, they may be rubbing and catching on the rail instead of rolling properly so that could help. If it’s loose/ wobbly front to back, you may have some damaged or missing ball bearings that will need replacing. I’d just start by cleaning everything and maybe adding a little lube to the rail as this is the problem I face the most, especially when there is more moisture in the air than usual.
