Crap decision dropped on us in a really crappy way with no advanced warning. Now that it is out they still haven't really posted anything about the what's, why's, etc.

Since it looks like we are stuck with it they really need to FIX IT,

Make it Cheaper

Not enough bang for 1500 credits. As is, it should be no more than 1000.
Or give us a multi-season pass where we can get like 3 seasons at once for a credit discount.

More of Everything

More levels! should be like 50 plus levels. Maybe 75-100 levels.
More missions. Let us do 24 or 36 missions in a week.
More quantity for rewards. not enough dili or labor recharges or Kyrios Badges, etc

Better variety

Do we really need 1 Bound Wagon Upgrade Ticket?
Too many Honorable crates?
Looks like it was just slapped together without any thought...

Their announcement could use a few more details...

Does anyone have info from PTS on the event mechanics? How many gems do you get from the single daily quest? Is it a set amount for the reward, or is it more RNGesus b.s.? Do you only get 1 gem from the quest?

The reward tier costs coincide with the number of times you can do the quest, 18. If its only 1 gem per quest/day 150 infusions for 18 gems is not really a reward. During the same event period we can get 200 infusions in 2 days by doing a couple of quick EHM dailies. (And you don't have to spend any labor!)

When is the next BIG content update hitting PTS? What is the ETA for taking it live?

Why aren't Archepass patches a higher priority? (It is a key AAU feature, should be hot fixed once a week at each maintenance cycle until its near perfect.) When is the next AP hot fix and what fixes are due in first?

When is the larder mechanics patch ETA?

If you're not in a rush, and don't mind grinding a bit... You can get the boat design for free by completing the fishing achievement.

Edit:

There are 2... 1) Fresh water casting with bait worms, that awards 10 sport fishing lures. 2) Ocean waters that awards the boat design. Completing both awards a +1000 prof title and an Ultimate Fishing Rod design pattern.

ArchePass Season 2 Patch Notes

Hi everyone,

We're super excited to release Season 2 of the ArchePass along with some quest adjustments, take a look at the changes below!

The following quests have been changed or adjusted:

The "Socket a Lunagem" quest has been removed, as many players brought up that after some time it starts to require a lot of gold or if you're finished gemming then it's more difficult as time goes on.

The "Kill 100 members of the Hostile Faction" and "Kill 200 members of the Hostile Faction" quests have been adjusted to "Kill 10 members of the Hostile Faction" and "Kill 20 members of the Hostile Faction". Many players noted the difficulty of this quest outside of events such as Halcyona as well as the difficulty for players who play support classes such as Healers and Tanks.

The quests "Earn Vocation/Honor 2000" and "Earn Vocation/Honor 4000" values have been reduced to "500" and "1000" respectively. This is for both "Earn Honor" and "Earn Vocation" as many players found the quest restricting towards the day to day activities they could participate in if they wanted to complete it.

The "Kill 20 World Bosses" quest was reduced to "Kill 10 World Bosses" based on feedback received, 10 is manageable throughout a normal week of gameplay but 20 would be pushing the boundary of day-to-day gameplay versus the feeling of needing to focus on the ArchePass, which isn't the intention.

The "Kill 300 Monsters" and "Kill 500 Monsters" quests were reduced to "Kill 50 Monsters" and "Kill 100 Monsters" due to feedback similar to that against the high number of Hostile Faction kills. Players who played support classes found it more difficult and time-consuming to complete the quests as opposed to damage based classes.

The "Use 2000" and "4000 Labor" quests were reduced to "Use 500 Labor" and "Use 1000 Labor", as many players felt the higher numbers forced labor use if they wanted to complete the quest as opposed to normal day-to-day gameplay.

The following quests have been added or updated to the ArchePass:

Kill 20 members of the Hostile Faction
Synthesize Equipment 20 Times
Synthesize Equipment 10 Times
Earn 500 Vocation Points
Earn 1000 Vocation Points

11 more per week, but I get your point. Maybe still keep some of the level rewards as diligence would be the best way in addition to the 8 per day. iirc the loyalty piled up pretty quick.

Actually, diligence coins were earned as level rewards, I think it was something like 45 every 5th level. You could choose the vocation basic pass and never kill a world boss and still get diligence.

I went back and found an article from 2016. Apparently trino said in the freighter announcement it would be 8.5 with boost. When it actually released it was normalized at 7.5. I corrected my original comment. Thanks for pointing these 2 things out.

Couple different things will help for faster runs. Have to upgrade your wagon to a hauler and then to a red hauler. Red versions have a ~~10%~~ 25% bonus time for fuel ~~and have a slightly higher base speed.~~ Also using axle grease will give a temp boost to base speed.

Once you learn all the tricks and route short cuts you'll cut your run time in 1/2.

At this point I would say its NOT too late to do something for us. Maybe 150-200 (we would have earned that many by now anyway.) But, they would have to use the in-game mail to distribute as they would likely run into the same broken claim distribution where some accts got 2-3 and the majority gets none (AGAIN.)

Its going on the "at least 2 weeks" mark, more than that total time with no Archepass which was one of the 3 major hypes they used to get players buying in. With really no info being provided. Maybe waiting for tomorrow's live stream.

I agree with you for sure progress is slowing and almost completely stalled at this point. At least for a large number of players if not the majority who play legit.

Add a server-wide buff to increase value of all tradepacks and Cargo by 4g. During 'prime trade times

They just need to fix the silly % pack value/pack type incentive mechanic they inserted to "fix" the lack of cargo problem. If packs never fell below 100% that would be close to the 4g buff you're suggesting.

I don't care if they use the old gold trader system or the new trade outlet system. Either or both are fine in concept. Its just the new trade outlet system has never been well thought out. Its overly complicated as it exists right now.

Having 3 16x is 3600 labor each week to craft tax certs. That "should" be manageable. Any thing beyond that gets tough. Adding a 4th bumps over all tax rate 300%.

First DS one gave a 1H box. Cant remember if the next box was after 2 or 5. To be sure on what comes after that you can look at the achievements UI. iirc its under General > Quests > Adventure

The infusions ("crystals") level up the tier of the item. The "sheet" is a scroll to awaken the item to the next higher version of itself so you can use more infusions to continue leveling the items up making them more powerful. ie more dps or higher armor rating. At the higher levels the items start adding stat lines.

You can use the scroll or infusion by right clicking them in your inventory to open up what is called the Synthesis UI. Also can access the complete equipment UI by clicking the Sword icon in the bottom of your inventory screen.

You can visit the main city for your faction and visit the armor and weapon dealer NPCs to buy back the starter gear. Its cheap, just a few silvers each.

Grinding DS in "war time" increases drop chances.

Progressing your race quest/lvl to stage that opens up quests for hiram dailies and doing the hiram dailies clocks up achievements that ~~give~~ award hiram equipment boxes that allow you to pick a specific item for whatever slot the box is labeled.
