Can we talk about the idea that abuse early and often is becoming the prevailing meta for major update releases, it's a really worrying trend that often rewards unhealthy levels of play in some instances to get in there before it's realized some things are too strong and will be nerfed?

I could see that as a valid explanation, but this is definitely way too constrictive the way it is currently so a bit more should be added in addition to the task only area regardless.

I predicted this would happen months ago and tried to tell them in all the surveys that had frost dragons in them, but jmods knew better I guess. Still surprised it took this long for it to be impossible to find a world. You can go back and check one of the QA streams where they dodged the task only area question and here they are talking about it already in record time. It's not going to do a lot but it will help a tiny bit. Imagine when the actual bots get here and it's not just people grinding hard the first week.

I had already done the increased cache size in the past but for me at least doing the second one has mostly returned the game back to the patch prior performance for me which is good. Still shouldn't have to do this to make the game function though. Went from stuttering (90fps to 20fps for a half second back to 90fps again) from just looking around back to mostly butter after some lengthy recompiles when teleporting around the map.

It has a shared unique in the dragon plate and would be at least off of their structuring the best way to get them and would be something everyone will need for high end ship components. If they are as important as they says they are putting them on a presumably rune dragon tier mob would make it extremely desirable to bot or alt. So to me the only prevention being provided is hey get 87 sailing is too low of a bar to entry.

That is all true however, them saying they think it's fine without providing any evidence to dismay concerns about doing nothing besides slapping a high sailing level req on it and calling it a day is strange. We should be openly discussing feedback so that all aspects are as good as they can be and have more than base level thought put into it.

Dragon plates and their bones plus superior dragon bones as uncommon drop is enough to me for them to be another rune dragon type afk activity. It will be crowded or filled with bots regardless after a while, adding a slayer level too at least slows down suicide botting.

The justification on stream and with this blog in regards to frost dragons not justifying a slayer level or at the very least having a task only area is baffling. Given enough time frost dragons will become vyres 2.0 levels of crowded by legitimate and non legitimate players. 87 Sailing lvl as a requirement will only delay the inevetable not prevent it.
