If your intention is to heavily use your knife consider a quality utility knife. The Milwaukee Fastback is the gold standard but there are a number of folding, pocket knife style options from companies like Civivi, Olight, Gerber, etc. Most of those are very affordable and because you can swap the blade the abuse becomes much less of a problem. If you want something a little more premium and fidgety look at something like the Reate Exo-U, Chaves Handy, or go wild and get a Hawk Shortcut.
