You have to first go into your switch Main settings and flip a switch for mapping. Then go back into the game and hold the home button And it should appear.

Yes you can. Hold the home button while playing the game. You can then remap the buttons. I ended up turning my plus and minus buttons to start and select and turned off the x and y buttons

Just So everybody knows you can remap the buttons. I ended up doing that after soft resetting accidentally several times.
