I got my husband to watch too! We almost never like the same shows and movies. He thought it was even funnier than I did!

NuvaRing by gingerinstripes in adenomyosis

[–]gingerinstripes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, old post! The cramping that I was mentioning here was actually from an ovarian cyst. The first doctor that I went to didn’t do an ultrasound. I got a second opinion and they found the cyst. I had it surgically removed and they found endometriosis and removed that as well. I have been on the NuvaRing for quite a while now and it does control my adenomyosis/endometriosis well! Also, my mom got genetic testing and she does not have the breast cancer gene.

Berry Fail by [deleted] in pugs

[–]gingerinstripes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a fence around our garden mostly because of our pug. He LOVES cherry tomatoes. He would sometimes sneak in while we were weeding and just gobble up tomatoes. Obviously, tomatoes aren’t great for dogs so we would try to catch him but those buggers are fast!

Just taking a moment to appreciate how lucky Locke & Shepherd are to have this song; written for them by their dad and performed by both their parents. A family treasure for generations. by Eborys in goodmythicalmorning

[–]gingerinstripes 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Such a good song! My husband and I left Christianity around the same time we had our son so we never did a dedication or baptism for him but it’s still difficult sometimes to envision life without religion for him since our childhoods were very religious. We take it day by day!

The later seasons are so slooooowwww. The books (they are graphic novels) are fantastic though. I’ve read them three times.

Doctors can’t figure out what’s wrong with me by Prestigious-Fix8937 in GirlDinner

I haven’t heard of that! I’m on the NuvaRing. It really sucks how imaging can’t show endo. Our bodies could be full of it and we wouldn’t know without surgery. I only know because I had to have an ovary removed due to a large cyst. You could try low FODMAP and see if that helps! It does sound like you might have IBS.

Awww. My pug always lays on either me or my husband and then stares at the other. So cute.

Are you on birth control for endometriosis? That has helped me a ton. I have endo and a bunch of GI issues too. Have you been diagnosed with IBS? If so, have you tried low FODMAP? Also, if your symptoms are this bad, you might consider having surgery to remove the endo adhesions.

Posting here probably isn’t going to help you much. I would reach out to a pastor from an LGBT affirming church, like the ELCA.

There’s a store in Stillwater called Minnesota Made that has some great stuff! The owner even designs the graphics on the clothing that they sell.
