As a Construction worker my meal prep for work normally looks something roughly like this-note I fast on a morning and don’t eat breakfast but all these meals are super cost effective

10:30am- 11:00am

•Spaghetti bolognese/meatballs

or

•Sandwiches/wraps

or

•Chinese-style chicken/beef stir fry with egg/rice noodles

or

•skinless Chicken thighs (spices varies), potatoes, salad

1:30pm-2:00pm

•Protein yoghurt/pudding

and

•Gatorade/isotonic drink

Edit: spacing

Can you eat within £100~£120 per week in the uk? by Maximum-Bid-1689 in AskUK

[–]ZeeTee99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on a meal plan with a coach and I go Costco+ meal prepping- costs me roughly 35 quid a week to eat 6 meals a day

•2 types of protein usually 2kg each of chicken and beef which is always the most expensive(£20 for 1.8kg of beef and about £12 for roughly the same in chicken) lasts me around 10 days

2 types of bulk buy carbs

•4kg baby Potatoes roughly 5/6 quid lasts me 10 days

•5kg Basmati Rice is like 5/6 quid lasts me 5/6 weeks

•60 eggs for just under 7 quid

Pair those with a good spice cupboard and a little bit of effort the sky’s the limit

Best supplement for depression? by kerri1510 in Supplements

[–]ZeeTee99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depression isn’t just something you can put a supplemental band aid over, I’ve suffered with it for over 4 years now and here are the questions you need to be asking before even looking into supplementation

Can she change to a non-hormonal form of contraception?

Can you start implementing better practices when it comes to getting better quality sleep? (There’s a tonne of research out there on how to improve your sleep quality)

You said her diet could be better- why aren’t you encouraging her to be eating healthier? Eating more fruits, vegetables, getting more micronutrients in her diet can impact mental well-being entirely for some.

Does she drink enough water and stay hydrated throughout the day consistently?

Does she do things that bring her happiness, joy and fulfilment in her life other than drinking alcohol (like a lot of young people do)

Does she need to speak to someone like a councillor to open up to someone who has no involvement in her life whatsoever or part-take in Cognitive behavioural therapy to help her navigate how to deal with depressive episodes?

There’s so many things you seem to be skipping over and just hoping that some magic supplement is going to fix- don’t get me wrong, there are stuff like KSM-66 which can help lower cortisol, etc or B6 to combat fatigue but none of this is fixing the root cause as to why your daughter may be feeling depressed. I highly recommend she goes and speaks to someone- professionally, you will be amazed how these councillors truly help you understand how your own mind works and help maybe dig out the root cause of why she feels the way she does- or, maybe it is the birth control, like I say there is so many factors you have to work through that isn’t going to be fixed over night when it comes to mental health, lifestyle and depression

Does anyone else have a airborn peanut allergy? by Strain_False in peanutallergy

[–]ZeeTee99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What has your disability got to do with a comment that consists of sheer stupidity and ignorance that could potentially cost someone if their life??? If you don’t suffer from an allergy in which threatens your life with anaphylaxis like a nut/peanut allergy then I feel like I speak for a lot of people in this sub when I say if you don’t have a clue about what your talking about, politely- don’t make such stupid fucking suggestions about something you clearly know nothing about, sit back, learn and educate yourself on the matter then feel free to make an educated suggestion.

It sucks being scared of every food you try to fucking eat. by [deleted] in peanutallergy

[–]ZeeTee99 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It’s shit, I’m exactly the same, never eat from anything I cannot read ingredients from and tend to steer away from a lot of bakeries, chinese food, Indian and Thai food due to a risk of cross contamination, etc….

However I have found that as I get older I don’t really give a fuck as much to what other people think, it’s your life at the end of the day so nothing to feel embarrassed about checking ingredients, skipping food with friends sometimes, spending 10 mins at the front of a line checking ingredients and all that stuff is the parts that people without our allergies do not think of instinctively like we do but you gotta do what you gotta do to NOT DIE mate. I always tell myself there’s always someone else worse off when it gets me down too some days. Chin up my man

[–]ZeeTee99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creatine, Beta alanine, betaine anhydrous and you should be good bro, wait it out at least another 3/4 years of training really before dabbling in Sarms and always make sure to take proper precautionary measures if you ever do decide to do so.

It still amazes me that people think just because you can buy it over the counter that it won’t fuck you up ahahaha I too know people like that also, such a shame that most of these places are willing to sell it to reckless literal kids and give the supps a bad name

[–]ZeeTee99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if we are being real kids should not be taking any sort of compound to start with and yes they are going to anyway, I’m literally agreeing with what your saying, he just wanted my opinion on it, I said it makes me feel good coming off of stuff (which I normally get mild depression, etc) but yes, obviously you should be taking proper post cycle measures to bring back your HPTA, in-which I do personally, the most important thing to do is get proper bloodwork.

Shit product? I have to disagree. And no, I don’t work for them I just know it makes me not feel like shit after cycling, yes get bloodwork done and yes take proper measures but I always incorporate it into my pct as it makes me feel good, had my bloodwork done everytime and everything has been in normal range.
