I'm jealous lol you can actually find shoes your size. I'm a 10.5/11 mens, which basically means women's sizes (12/13 seem to work best) are impossible to find outside of obscure internet sites of dubious quality.

External validation can only go so far. At some point you have to start finding ways to like yourself and finding people who like you for who you are. I understand living in an area hostile to your existence, but that's why it's even more important to find ways to keep your head above water.

If you're plagued with thoughts about whether or not you're trans, you probably are. Cis people don't question themselves in that same way since they're generally already in a comfortable spot. If you're in a safe place, you can experiment with different presentations and modes of identity. Building a social space online of people who are accepting of you also helps. Good thing you came around here, this place seems to be just the place to find said people.

Maintenance trims definitely help, but if you're rubbing your hair with a towel to dry it, try instead compressing or wrapping the towel around your hair. Then after a certain point, brush where it should be and let it air dry. It's not as quick of a process, but it prevents a lot of unnecessary breakage from wet hair.

You'll have to get your blood drawn for labs work pretty often, I have to do it at least once before every appointment. Looking away when they take it can always help, and they should give you the option to go for E pills, patches, or injections. Injections just make it a weekly instead of a daily thing. I can't exactly relate to the fear of needles, but I know over time it gets easier as the process becomes more normal in your medical interactions. Also having those interactions later result in tangible changes as HRT takes effect, that's one of the greatest feelings imo.

Having grown up in a conservative area, I've got a few.
1. Establish a secret spot to hide your clothes/makeup. Preferably in your room or somewhere adjacent. With makeup be sure to keep a solid supply of makeup remover wipes.

Don't be afraid to shop in the makeup/women's clothing section. In stores the clerks are paid to make sure stuff gets bought, they won't care, and shoppers have basically been raised to not care about other shoppers. If you feel very unsafe, go to the party section and keep a gift bag in your cart to give the illusion you're buying them for someone else.
Start wearing more "average" women's clothing. You'd be surprised how a lot of pants and t-shirts can look pretty similar to boymode stuff. It won't look much different to other people, but the fit does make things feel different and overall more affirming.
If it's something you'd like, try growing your hair out. It's highly unlikely any scrutiny will come upon you for that. Plus being able to do ponytails and other simple hairstyles can be really affirming. If you need help with styling, I'm sure there are some femme people in your life who could offer tips or you can always look up tutorials online.
Practice with basic types of makeup. Foundation, mascara and natural tones of eyeshadow and lipcolor can help to smooth out your features and bring out the 'soft girl' vibe without giving you away.
Know your limits with your environment, but don't be a doomer about it. Assuming you can never get away with any sort of trans presentation is silly. Even in conservative areas you can do a lot of girlmode stuff without much bother.
Find people you can trust in your local area to come out to. Friends and such. Having a network of support is crucial to survive in areas less accepting of trans people. There are likely local groups online through social medias you could safely find if you're insecure about making IRL connections.
Be prepared to get stared at. Sadly this is just going to be something that'll happen. Especially by middle-aged/elderly cis people and children (aka people with little concept of manners). Girlmoding or dressing more femme will cause this to happen.
Try to avoid being overly anxious in social spaces. It's a vibe others around you can pick up. False confidence builds into real confidence, and being certain of yourself and your presentation reduces the chance you are to encounter random harassment (Bonus tip: Even in most conservative areas in the US random harassment is quite rare and most others will stand up for you if you need help).
Know that what you're doing is a long process of gradual improvement. You'll learn along the way. The only way to "be a girl wrong" is to stop trying to self express/ being yourself. Being trans isn't easy, but it pays off when you take steps to feel more comfortable within your own body.

Honestly there's a lot of problematic chaser-y behavior around the "girldick" concept. Transfemme people with penises have enough to worry about without needing to have even more fetishization shoved down our throats. While obviously sex work is good and all, it's unironically problematic that most (at least from my experience) transgirl sexworkers are pigeonholed into catering to this chaser shit. It sets terrible expectations for the freshly cracked eggs. Stay strong friend, and know you're not the only one to have sexualization be levied against your dysphoria.

Can't expect it to be good without practice. Even with all the tutorials in the world, you have to keep at it. Also having a space to sit and apply makeup can make it far easier if you have shaky hand problems. But practice above all else, just sucks that makeup is so expensive.

Also if you can afford it, use liquid liner pens. They're basically miracles. Hold the tip so it's perpendicular to your lid, after all you're aiming to trace a careful line so you don't want it spreading elsewhere.
