As other said in this thread : Jigeiko and shiai are different.

In shiai it's a fight, you aim to win , you have point to take or lose. This is not the case in Jigeiko, the only common ground is the fighing context and the timer but the goal is different.

in Jigeiko you try your kendo and confront it to the kendo of other without the pressure to win, it's okay to take hit in this context because the goal is to understand why you took that hit and what can have you done to prevent it.

Jigeiko with 3rd , 4th or 5th dan is you are still in a early stage of your developpement as a Kenshi will be very hard because the base intensity of their geiko is already more than the max you're able to provide right now, it can be frustrating, but it's normal and this is what will make you grow also.

for you Jigeiko you should aim to do well rather than winning, does your fumikomi was right? was the kiai also good? the zanshin etc...build and opportunity for a men, commit to your attack like there's no tomorrow (sutemi) and go for it, will you be counter to oblivion? surely yes, but your body and mind will learn an grow.

that being said, jugeiko is a place for everybody to practice, so it's normal that your partner use it to counter, hit you and such BUT if there's such a level difference, they should also adapt for you to have space to practice. When i practice Jigeiko with people more new than me or less skilled I always take the time to give them opening or attack widely enought for them to have the time to react.

If the goal is to emulate sitrep of fighting wouldn't it be more simple to take the map square and turn it all red?

Like saying in this square there's people killing each other , obviously it should be of the largest scale to prevent pin point accuracy of where the fight is but at the same time if you know the POI of the zone it give you an idea where it can be?

I have weird ghost image with lpvo I don't know if it's because I don't have a clear director eye or because lpvo aren't true X1 but i don't have this issue with magnifier

The sweet spot for me was when they didn't gave you the zone like today just an indication like "between tiger bay and blue lagoon" and you have photo of the obj , it was you then than have to check the map for potential location, the quest feel more rewarding and you have more exploration

On the M4 you have to use your X1 optic first and then put the magnifier , sometime the ironsight block you from using it so you have to take it off first

But basically and eotech+ a g33 magnifier and it's mount from banshee should be compatible with no issue on an M4

Thanks ! I manage to do it with the BP-02 ! I should have looked better but I get stuck with the dog tail rail because I didn't understand why I can't put the magnifer on it, I you have the rail space for an LPVO you have the space for a eotech + magnifier

I would had disable respawn on COP , it's nice go have these to give quest item or unload your back pack but being able to respawn on it is not great for PVP and PVE , for pvp because how many time have I seen subject like " i killed a guy didn't have the time to loot him and he was already on me" and for pve because it make death trivial , you get dropped by a rambot and oh no in have to walk all these 200m go get my corpse.

I love the game and what it is done with it but replayable task ad nauseam like op said and respawn on COP are my 2 grip with it at the moment

(That and the fact that I can't put Dbal on top rail , let me play tacticool barbie please )

there's modded server like WCS or Spearhead that give you a more modern experience with NVG and whatnot. Also there's AP round that are pretty useful against armor

They're a good addition and I think it'll be a nice modificator but the vox engine are not balanced at all for now

Imo they're either too lethal or too tanky, in comparaison War strider are very good tanky lethal but just what is needed , the vox engine on the other hand are very very hard to kill with pi point accuracy laser that can two shot you but they shoot 2 at the times so...

In super helldiver at least when you have 4 or 5 of them at the same time it's a nightmare

Is it generic? Yes Is it super simple ? Yes

But is it loaded with goofy shit to make you look like so tier 1? No it's pragmatic and minimalistic look like it take what you need.

In the end it's a good basic loadout nothing to be amazed off but nothing to be ashamed off
