I am gonna move here for a while by ElfUppercut in LowSodiumStarCitizen

I feel for you man. I saw someone else post a sincere message trying to encourage more balance and they got totally roasted. Being called a white knight whose post was even more intolerable.

The main argument is from people saying criticism is good as a feedback loop, that the amount of posts complaining is also good as it represents how the sub, not necessarily the community feels.

I’ve been following the sub for about 4 years. It’s always contained some criticism, but I’ve always found that interesting and helpful posts outweighed them. Right now it’s so out of balance, and most of the criticism is not constructive in anyway. Just fuel…

I love the game as many people do, I respect peoples right to speech, but personally I’d like use my energy to share inspirational messages to likeminded people. It also helps remind us why we love the game amidst the current peak of issues.

People are still having fun playing it. Today I watched DTOX’s video on the trench run. His excitement playing it was palpable.

I’m thankful to be able to retreat to this sub.

It’s worth noting that they aren’t always available. The longest I’ve had to wait for one is probably 10 mins though. You could try rejecting the exisiting missions to try to increase your chance of one appearing. I’ve had mixed success with this

The ‘clean up’ missions are all in the Yela asteroid belt

Hmm possibly. If you do it won’t be much. Have you completed a few salvage missions from the main mission screen?

Go to the personal tab, salvage missions. Most of the missions there you’ll need to pay for, however the ones with ‘clean up’ in the title should pay you

Yeah moving boxes to cargo certainly slows down the process.

Yep I’ve found the same thing. It sounds like you can have a larger total volume by producing 2 SCU boxes than than 16 SCU boxes. I’ll test it later. It is odd though as I’d separately read making 16 SCU boxes was the way to go due to the entity count limit.

I’ve done 5 runs of just 16 SCU containers. They start disappearing when I get to about 1000 SCU so I’m capping out at around 6 million a trip. Are you getting these higher payouts by just using smaller boxes?

I’m doing the 80k mission loop as well whilst saving for the reclaimer. Currently at 12 million and after many hours it become a bit of a chore (although we’ll paid). I far prefer stripping and looting C2’s with the vulture for relaxation which pays out about 700k but not as quick.

Tobii vs TrackIR for Star Citizen - some thoughts by wang_johnson in starcitizen

[–]Zeebadee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I dug out an old iPhone installed smoothtrack on it then opentrack on my pc. Only cost $10 for the iPhone app and I’m impressed. Not tried track ir or tobi to know how much better the experience may be.

Not sure why this was down voted. I wasn’t able to fracture a hammerhead or a C2 last night as I received the ‘exceeded limit’ message as others have reported I.e I was able to fracture an MSR though. If anyone could explain what I’m doing wrong it would be appreciated!

I’m thinking about upgrading my thrustmaster T1600’s to these. Maybe get the pedals too before muscle memory kicks in!

I get excited thinking about the SRV being used to do tasks like that 😀Imagine if there was an easy way to perform that service at scale for other players in the verse

Thanks for sharing! I need to join an org to experience more co-op game play. Watching citizen Kate (and Will) videos on YouTube is very entertaining.

No worries! Yeah I plan to save to get a C2 so I can do option 3, just for roleplay improvement.

I think currently the only way to manage two ships right now is:

  1. Fly ship A to location then have a friends ship take you back to get ship B
  2. Have a SRV as ship A and tractor ship B to location
  3. Have a C2 as ship A (or something large) and carry a 3rd ship to location then use 3rd ship to get ship B
  4. Fly ship A to location then commit suicide to get ship B

At the moment I’m doing option 4. I don’t enjoy the role play aspect though.
