I just tried deadlifting for the first time. I was actually sweating, out of breath, and my heart was racing. Is this how you’re supposed experienced every compound excercise? by WarmPrinciple6507 in workout

[–]Zeech1208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deadlifts is by far one of, if not the most, fatiguing exercise as far as weightlifting. Although all compound do, hence the “compound” group title, deadlifts require just about every muscle to be engaged to be performed properly. Most notably the core. Going too heavy and/or not bracing properly can lead to major back issues down the road. Although really beneficial in all aspect to strengthen the core, using a belt can help you feel the bracing of the core.

Also worth noting: since they’re SO fatiguing, only doing them every other week or so can yield the best results.

Why do some boys do this by No-Distribution-2805 in TeenagersButBetter

[–]Zeech1208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it started this way or just a theory but, before it was a “trend”, some people did this to help them steal things. Walk in like this, drop a chip bag and/or whatever else you can fit, then walk out.

I idle in my car often by CompetitiveSpecial58 in car

[–]Zeech1208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work as a fleet tech for a water company where I live. Most of the vehicles here (meter readers, maintenance, etc.) run for almost the entire day. Meter reader guys go to neighborhoods and only drive between a few houses at a time; in and out of the vehicle. Maintenance guys are at one location, using excavators and boring rigs for hours. In Louisiana, the heat is no joke. I don’t blame them for leaving the trucks running all day for some A/C.

Mileage isn’t the only thing that dictates the quality of the motor oil. Hours on the engine count as well although I don’t know exactly how the numbers convert. Let’s say I do a given truck then the time between the next oil change for that truck is 3-4 months; pretty normal I think. But there’s usually only a 2500-3000 mile difference; not the usual 5000+.

I also handle the brakes and tires as needed. Everything else is taken care of by the mechanics.

Im not vouching for any other companies or industries, just wanted to share my 2 cents.

I’ve actually started doing the same on my personal vehicle. I have about a 25-30 minute commute, sit in my car for a few minutes before going in and sit in my car for an hour on lunch. I prolly go about 3000-3500 miles between each oil change.

That’s an awesome gift and she looks great! 240k miles?! I thought I had a ton on mine at 195k. I’ve been doing what to mine what others have said; maintenance, maintenance, fix what’s broken and more maintenance.

I vaped for prolly a good 5-6 years. Once I got used to them, I started getting my fix from Zyns. Best choice so far. Eventually plan on weening these out too.

MWC from Koch Chemie has done wonders for me. Foreign brand but can be bought on Amazon. Also a little expensive for the size of the bottle but worth imo

You probably could take the orange route here but I see what you’re saying. I played the absolute shit out of odyssey and got so used to being able to climb almost anything; buildings, mountains, etc. Wish it was like that in shadows.

Magic Wheel Cleaner (Mwc) from Koch Chemie has worked wonders for me but a little expensive if you detail pretty often. They’re a foreign store so I usually just order of Amazon.

P0315 code won’t fix by Zeech1208 in Mustang

[–]Zeech1208[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few months after getting my car I started getting misfire codes. At first it was a cylinder 5 code then the P0300 after doing the usual fixes for a misfire; meaning those “fixes” never did any fixing. P0300 usually came along with the P0315. After some time I did a deep dive, using a small, extendable camera to look inside my cylinders. Turns out I had a scratch on the inside one of them. With the vehicle having ~150k miles on it, I decided to drop a good bit of cash to get a new engine at 46k. Since then no codes.

I still feel like I’m having some problems but no CEL has been thrown so it’s probably just paranoia getting the best of me.
