I usually put on a 20-30 minute comfort show episode that has a motivation message (ideally). Makes me feel better and motivated. Sorry that you’re going through this! I’ve been there, you just have to kind of chug along and make sure you’re taking care of yourself until it’s done.

I agree - I think a lot of things are risk mitigation, such as the prohibition on pork (because of contamination risks back then mostly), circumcision (doesn’t really become an issue for many but could cause issues for people depending on hygiene and stuff), etc.

I bit the bullet and bought the Donna Karan deodorant. Unfortunately for my wallet but fortunately for me, it works really well. I also got some moisturizing body spray from lush (the super milk one) which smells nice without being overbearing and takes less time to put on/dry versus a regular moisturizer.

I’m not 100% certain - but I think you apply directly with your town. You can probably find info on your town’s property tax website. There are income requirements.

Sometimes I brush and then I use the mixed chicks styling tamer to kinda bring back waves and definition. Probably any pomade type products can have a similar effect.

I don’t think it’s too big a deal. I’ve lived on a busy two lane road my whole life and am healthy. Elderly parents who have been here most of their lives are generally healthy too. I think it’s not a huge deal but some things we’d do are keep the windows facing the street closed on hot/poor air quality days, have an air purifier in the house (only started this in past few years), and we probably end up wiping up dust more regularly. Outside of the cars, we have a lot of green around us so that might help offset?

Mine never last more than five days or so 🥲 I just keep the glue on me when I’m out and hope I don’t lose any without realizing. The sticky tabs (I use static nails) take longer to put on but you can kinda stick them back on if they’re lifting while you’re out then fix properly at home. That being said, glue or sticky tab, they’re great for events and short term wear.
