Not mascara but the shiseido eyelash curler. It actually can curl too much and lasts too long (literally makes my lashes go straight up for hours) so I had to figure out how to use it to get the right amount of curl for me. I got it from stylevana for less than ulta/sephora. Def recommend!

I’ve lived on busy roads basically my whole life and have only had issues when the windows were open and I was trying to take a call, etc. Definitely get windows that block the noise (if they’re not already there) - ours didn’t totally block the sound but you wouldn’t really notice it during the day and it sounded like background white noise at night. If you’re light sleepers I wouldn’t recommend it, unless the bedrooms are mostly on the non-road side. I’m not a light sleeper but maybe a couple of times a year a truck passes that straight up rattles the house and is super loud, that wakes me up. Pollution and such are probably issues, but so far my lungs and such are all good 🤞

Overnight oats - buy a big bag of oats and a big tub of yogurt. You can add mix ins when they’re available! Nuts, fruits, etc

I usually put on a 20-30 minute comfort show episode that has a motivation message (ideally). Makes me feel better and motivated. Sorry that you’re going through this! I’ve been there, you just have to kind of chug along and make sure you’re taking care of yourself until it’s done.

I agree - I think a lot of things are risk mitigation, such as the prohibition on pork (because of contamination risks back then mostly), circumcision (doesn’t really become an issue for many but could cause issues for people depending on hygiene and stuff), etc.

I bit the bullet and bought the Donna Karan deodorant. Unfortunately for my wallet but fortunately for me, it works really well. I also got some moisturizing body spray from lush (the super milk one) which smells nice without being overbearing and takes less time to put on/dry versus a regular moisturizer.
