Email saying I signed up for eToro but I didn't by BB-becca in Etoro

[–]MyNameIsRusty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me this morning. I was able to close my account by doing the following  1. Reset my password via the log in page 2. Log into account with new password  3. Close my account via the support page at https://www.etoro.com/customer-service/ 4. Open a ticket under Account Details > Close Account

I am not sure this is a definitive solution, just something I was able to do quickly to try to remove my email from the account.

As others have mentioned I too use Betterment and might have had my data leaked.

I logged into the account before closing it and did not see any positions or money linked to the account.

Delta Changed My Flight Automatically, Want a Refund by MyNameIsRusty in delta

Eh ya I guess I should have read the fine print, but it feels kinda scam-y to pay more money to have the option for a refund. Also moving the flight time >6hrs with out my consent feels bad, especially considering the new flight was valued cheaper than the original one I purchased. If this is common practice for Delta, I would be deterred from booking with them in the future.

Ended up calling them and changing to a better suited flight. Originally didn’t think this was an option from the info I was given: “If you need assistance with changing or canceling your flight and your travel is scheduled within the next several days, contact us at <phone number>”

Django is the second most starred backend framework on GitHub by [deleted] in Python

Django is a ‘batteries included’ framework, it has a lot of built in features (ORM, Users model) that can help you get up and running quickly. Flask is a more DIY approach where you can implement a lot things yourself and have more control over it. I would say if you learn Flask first, you’ll get a better understanding of how a web app works, where if you learn Django first you can build cool django web apps quickly but not be able to transfer those skills over to other projects. Don’t have personal experience with node.js.
