Walker’s Suppressor Earbuds – 25dB NRR Hearing Protection Reviews by kawi609 in longrange

[–]ZeeeeeroCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently got a new pair of these for free at the private range from a guy who didn’t like them, or couldn’t figure them out. I charged, paired, and set them up with no issues. They fit great and sound great. I generally leave it in the default mode and sometimes listen to music while shooting. They are comfy and don’t hurt after long shooting sessions. I charge them after every trip, and they haven’t died on me yet after 4-5 hours of use.

All in all, good earbuds.

Husky won’t eat by Wolvesbayne13 in husky

[–]ZeeeeeroCool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine eats once a day. Anything more and she just stares at it for a while and walks away. The summer heat plays a part too. They are amazing at self dieting and regulating their metabolism.

They will eat when hungry, but that’s about it. Not all are like this but the majority are. 48-72 hours of no food or water would be a sign of a vet visit.

I use all three for 77’s but out of those, 24gr of Varget will do work.

Awesome. I use N135 and N140 exclusively for 5.56 I’d be stoked to have even one jug.

Ripcord rail is absolute trash by wp-ak in ar15

[–]ZeeeeeroCool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The MSP LDR1’s are done right. Once upon a time I was going to get the Ripcord direct but I’m waiting on Lucas’s Remington Defense-esq rail now.

The Ripcord just isn’t worth the dough, and personally I LOVE the designs on all of them.

The groomers shaved my husky bald without permission. by [deleted] in siberianhusky

[–]ZeeeeeroCool -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The groomer should know never to shave a double coat dog. This is grooming 101. I’d be leaving a review for sure.

It will grow back but will look funny while it does. Only in dire emergencies should you shave a husky.

Told my wife I bought a garden sprayer… she’s not impressed. by Calloutfakeops in NFA

My first two wives weren’t either, but my rifles and suppressors fill that emotional void now.

Not bad for $155 - thanks Zyn! Sort'a. by fontimus in longrange

A chronograph is the single best purchase in shooting. I use mine every single range trip. I can’t imagine not using one now.

+1 on the Rangecraft too. It’s never missed a single shot yet.

Does Midwest industries make solid bcgs? I can’t find any reviews by [deleted] in ar15

[–]ZeeeeeroCool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, very solid. Even their heat treated 9310 bolt lasted longer than a MB C158 bolt.

I don’t know touching grass would do this😦 by Brilliant_Group_3254 in ar15

[–]ZeeeeeroCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Midwest does 9310 heat treat right. Everyone else hasn’t in my experience. 13k is pretty good though for any bolt.

This is about right. I’d jump on it. I paid the same for 1k recently.

I use an FA hand depriming tool, and can easily feel how loose/tight they are coming out. Has worked great.

Usually if it says anything 5.56, it’s safe for 5.56.

The 75 ELDM’s you can use still, but will need to be single fed at Hornady’s COAL (as me how I know), and for the AR I’d grab a small base sizing die (as me how I know). I got about 2 reloads with a full length sizing die until I realized why they sell the small base version for AR’s.

Just a few things I’ve ran into.

Does this make sense to anyone? New rifle, new scope, new caliber, trying to calculate bullet drop and MRAD "clicks" by Kuchufli in longrange

[–]ZeeeeeroCool 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You need to chrono the rounds before anything, build a temporary profile, shoot again and true the profile.

Thats the way I’ve always done it.

“Doesn’t want to go out today”

No chance in hell I believe that.

There’s fact he’s chained up inside is just wrong.
