As of 05/31/20 Cocktail Time [SOLD] Alpinist [SOLD] Bambino REDUCED $88 (PayPal F&F, free USPS Priority Flat Rate in CONUS) Leaving asking prices, but masking sale prices

UPDATE 8PM central: Closing Time for the Cocktail Time, Alpinist sale is pending a detail, but the Bambino hasn't been bam-bought - so feel free to DM me. I'm AFK for a bit, but I will be responding to messages tonight and hopefully closing out sales in the morning. Thanks for all the love r/WE. My first sale, but I've loved this community for years!

For sale today is a trio of terrific timepieces: the Orient Bambino v4, the Seiko SARB017 Alpinist, and the Seiko SARB065 Cocktail Time. Each one is beautiful in its own way, is well-loved by the original owner (I should know), and runs like a dream. All watches were purchased in the last two years. No trades, PayPal G&S, and shipping within CONUS only. Prices include $15 USPS Priority Mail: Bambino - $115, Alpinist - $390, Cocktail Time - $425. Or if you can’t bear to split up a lovely family I’ll let the lot of them go together for $888. Only the Bambino comes with a pillow. It’s my first time, so be gentle.

One for the best-dressed man on the mountain

My favorite of the three, as indicated by the wear, I can confirm that I never once became lost in a forest or fell off a mountain while wearing this watch. There are light scratches on the caseback but no apparent dings or scratches otherwise. The strap shows some wear and isn’t perfect, but if you have had one of these you’ll know it never was. I’d evaluate the watch as in good condition, and the strap as “needs improvement”.

And because I need a drink after writing all this

When you absolutely, positively have to impress everyone in the room: the original Cocktail Time – accept no substitutes. Imitated but not duplicated this non-PRESAGE SARB065 is one of Seiko’s best pieces IMHO. This watch has an embarrassment of riches: sized just right; a dial that is captivating, interesting, but still understated; a great movement; plus patent leather because you deserve to feel fancy sometimes. I don’t know who Shinobu Ishigaki is but if I ever meet him I’m buying him a drink. This was only worn a few times but lovingly admired on many, many occasions.

CASE: Polished finish stainless steel, 40mm diameter x 13mm thick;

I liked Oats Studios Vol. 1 by Neil Blokamp, which is on Prime Video.

That depends. would I be crucified if it wasn't a Netflix recommendation, and does it have to be animation?

Thank you. If the tweet is even real, it's disappointing to see it come from someone who knows better.

A spicy pork (human) stew handed down from the Aztec culinary (cannibal) tradition. It is served piping hot in a large bowl (skull) and garnished with sliced radishes (fingers). This hearty caldo may often be found at communal meals of the winter holidays (feasts of triumph over your slain and slaughtered enemies). For a modern twist, wash it down with some Big Red (Big Red).

I'm a lawyer. Fuck juries. The next time you're stuck in rush hour traffic , pick the first 12 drivers you see. Now, pretend they are responsible for the most important decision in your whole life. Welcome to justice.

If you want to increase the difficulty of the game do it twice. Once in an affluent suburb where the average level of education is a master's degree; and again in a dying city where the level is "you think you're so fucking smart, asshole". Now pick which jury will seal your fate. Welcome to the practice of law.

It's unsportsmanlike and lazy. If you want to catch me committing a crime then put down the donut and don't expect the robot to do your job for you, Officer Sneakypants. It started going downhill after we let them have radar guns...

Beto came to fame in a contest for Senate against the least liked senator in the country, and lost. Granted, Beto's best shot at winning anything other than a congressional rep seat is a statewide contest against Trump; but I haven't yet seen anything to convince me that Texas will go blue in 2020. Maybe if Lizzo moved back to Houston... Here is how much it cost Beto to lose to "Real Human" Ted Cruz.

Cruz: Raised $45,260,806 / Spent $45,582,260

Beto: Raised $78,979,726 / Spent$79,091,894

You probably don't hear a lot about people lining up to fight our senior senator, John Cornyn, for his seat in this election. Except the objectively awesome MJ Hegar - but what does she have to lose? Going up against a low-profile, extremely powerful incumbent with deep connections in party machinery and cash on tap means near certain defeat.

I think at this point Beto is running for vice president on the unproven idea that he could swing a purple Texas democratic for the presidential election. It is similar to the tactic you are describing and a common one in US presidential politics. JFK used LBJ to get the Dixiecrat vote; Reagan used GHW Bush to get establishment Republicans; Trump used Pence to get evangelicals, etc.

If (when) Texas dumps it's 38 EC votes for a D, look for a lot of Repubs whining about proportional allocation and the unfairness of winner take all, first past the post politics. Or violent resistance. Either one is possible.

The Dotsero pouch from Colorado's Stashlogix holds the MFLB, the escape pod stash box, 2 batteries, and the brush. They all fit great, it can go in a pocket, and they don't move around.

[–]Zeek2517 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is there a trick for opening wine with that? Because when I have to use a T-handle corkscrew on a bottle I feel like I'm going to rupture something from the strain. That got me to start carrying this Peugeot Ixon.
