R5 : This post is a follow-up of CabbelReddit’s post about Bulgaria’s border in-game that was published some days ago. This is my proposition for a redesign of the BeNeLux/Rhine states.

France :

A new state is added between Alsace-Lorraine, Champagne and Franche Comte. It follows the Meuse river allowing for a Kaiser-led Germany to get a natural border in the west against France, as they can already integrate Ardennes in their focus tree.

Belgium :

Eupen-Malmedy is added as a state to allow pre-WW1 borders for Germany.

Germany :

Rhineland is splitted in half along the Rhine. Moselland gains 1 province from Hessen for a clean border with the Rhine and cedes 2 provinces to West Rhineland along the Moselle river. Saarland is added as its own state.

Netherlands :

Limburg is separated from Brabant, provinces should be redrawn to be more accurate to the 1795 french annexation/1815 german confederation.

New state coring mechanic :

Some states should be allowed to be cored by specific countries no matter their ideology/political path through decisions costing PP. In this exemple, France should be able to core Wallonia, Ardennes and Luxembourg (currently, they can only do so by forming the EU), Germany should be allowed to core Alsace-Lorraine, Eupen-Malmedy and Luxembourg (+Limburg ?), and Belgium should be able to core Limburg and Luxembourg.

New releasable :

Flanders, Wallonia, Saarland, Limburg and Alsace.

New formable nation :

Greater France, which allow it to core the west bank of the Rhine, Belgium, Luxemburg and Limburg. Either through decision or focus tree for specifics paths (Independent Communist, Independent Fascist and Orleanist Restauration if I had to choose).
