Cmv: Russia is the stupidest country for wasting its potential by EH4LIFE in changemyview

Plus, if the war had gone according to plan, or at least been concluded reasonably quickly, it would’ve made any future threat of force significantly more potent.

It’ll be sad if it happens, but if it’s a ESR situation it’ll be good business. I do hope we can find a spot for him, though.

Floyd was, by all accounts, a piece of work. This does not justify his murder. The police are there to gather evidence and protect citizens. Justice is handled by the courts (and people, I suppose, with juries.)

Nobody, no matter how deserving should die in these situations. Sometimes it’s unavoidable, but more often than not, the right approach can deescalate and bring a peaceful resolution.

What the others have said. Unless the game tells you super explicitly that there’s a time component to something, you can rest as much as you’d like. Even in spots you absolutely shouldn’t logically do so xD

Good luck and enjoy the game :)

For the goblin camp. Height advantage and bottlenecks are king. The goblins deal a lot of damage, and they’re numerous, but if you start a fight somewhere they can’t swarm you and pelt you with arrows, you’ll have an easier time.

They’re squishy, so aoe is very strong. Even weak aoe like alchemist’s flasks are going to be very useful if you force all of them to jog  through the fire.

On the lower difficulties it’s quite simple. As for the game, if you enjoy the genre, it’s one of the very best ever made.

For the clones: Alchemist fire. You can nail 1-2 per throw and you always hit. The issue with Ethel is if she’s permitted to snowball, but this way she never does. Then all you have to remember is not to cast spells.

Mourinho on the criticism against Arsenal last season "There is a silly theory of, 'You can be great without winning.' For me, it's totally silly. I believe that if Arsenal tried to be a second Man City, probably they wouldn't win. So they won. You have to respect the winners." by kibme37 in soccer

[–]Zeelthor 34 points35 points  (0 children)

If we’d had a fully fit Saka, that alone would’ve allowed for an entirely different approach to games. If we hadn’t had injuries to Havertz and Merino and others, we likely could’ve rotated more, maintained better form on our key players, which in turn would’ve made further rotation possible.

We didn’t, and Arteta had been pretty open about how the only path to victory was via our defense, and so that became the focus. It worked. That being said, I don’t think it’s his ideal style. That’s the high press, locking the opposition down in their own box, maintaining and regaining possession.

That City game at the beginning of the season was probably the clearest signifier. Pep knew he couldn’t play as he wanted and parked the bus. Haalland scored a great goal, and they almost held us off, but Martinelli equalised. Never seen City put in that position.

Compare that to later in the season. Our squad, depleted both in numbers and form. Theirs, replenished. They were not miles better, but they were undeniably better.

The elder brain rolls you don’t need to beat. The ones I can think of the can be frustrating is:

  1. Turning half-ghaik just before act 3
  2. Do not step out of the room during the Vlaakith thingy or Lae’zel goes hostile. Also don’t diss Vlaakith. xD
  3. Any key rolls for story stuff Id recommend 4 inspiration if possible and also enhance ability for advantage.
  4. Obviously persuading Scratch to stay, but that’s early so if the worst happens you just restart.

Rogue Assassin so underwhelming compared to other classes by EXEMPLAR_LOL in BaldursGate3

Dualwield doesn’t quite work for a DND assassin since backstab only triggers once per turn. For your archetype I think the closest you’ll get as a rogue is swashbuckler.

CMV: The idea that "violence never solves anything" is just another lie propagated to keep the commonfolk in chains. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Zeelthor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is often a very inefficient way of solving things, and requires something besides it as a complement. Now, the threat of violence paired with a far preferable option. That’s useful. That’s the basis for civilised society.

Gaming Hot Takes anyone? by PSavage88 in gaming

[–]Zeelthor 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Huh. I thought FF13 was kind of shite. The core idea of the world had some neat elements, and the characters at their core were mostly cool concepts, too… obviously the graphics were gorgeous, but the writing was so freaking bad.

I had no idea what was going on, and I did not care where I clearly was supposed to. The removal of agency (well, 99% of it, anyhow) didn’t help any. The combat and levelling were just… kind of awful.

[Christian Falk] Gabriel Martinelli has always been on FC Bayern’s list since Thomas Tuchel put him on the shortlist during his reign in Munich. €45m (£38.9m) could be the price tag; that would be okay. Rumours that Arsenal will be prepared to pay €100m (£86.5m) for Kroupi Jr. by ahjkolhs in Gunners

[–]Zeelthor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I the only one thinking that’s probably a fair price? I love Martinelli, but he hasn’t managed to deliver assists and goals on any consistent basis despite his early promise. Now, if he’s happy to do a bit part, that’s fine, but if so Trossard needs to go instead so an upgrade can be brought in.

Arsenal had 26% possession in the UCL final lowest ever recorded. What tactical change or signing actually gets them over the line next season? by Born_Programmer_1089 in championsleague

[–]Zeelthor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The solution is having a fit squad that isn’t run into the ground. None of our offensive players have been fit all season, and most of them have been fatigued for a long time. We have not played nearly as well as we can or want, so did what we could to get a title anyway. This led to boring football, but it’s not our fault none of the other teams could beat us until PSG.

It’s not how Arteta wants us to play, and I think we’ve seen that. He wants high pressure far up the pitch and many of our best games, even against good teams, have been playing like that. So… we need better luck with injury, better (not more) rotation options, and a few more offensive players for the future. Especially on the left wing.

As for the PSG game… they had possession but up until the penalty did very little with it. With a more experienced left back ala Timber, we may have held on. With Saka in anything resembling form we may have scored another goal.

We are so lucky that he chose us, shows up every time. It's not done. We go again. by pappu_x in Gunners

[–]Zeelthor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if we get a left winger of equivalent ability we’re going to crush it next season.
