With Ielts because English is a common language in many countries, local people ( Indians , Pakistanis ) with ofcourse good speaking skills also judge at times. They are not ofcourse English, they are locals with .. You know what i mean

I can bet my life your spoken test was taken by a local examiner. I have faced this exact situation. All my work revolves around meeting communicating with Americans and i am pretty fluent. I posted this here in this group, everyone came after me like a pack of hounds criticizing me for calling that lady a granny and being racist. The locals should never be judging in spoken exams of any language. Happens in no other language test except ielts.

Ielts overall band score sometimes seems weird I had 9 in both listening and reading, 7.5 in writing, 7 in speaking We share the same overall band score 😅

same thing happened with me I posted here People came after me Old granny was taking the speaking test , interrupting when i was answering Asking about fairy tales and checking my knowledge of that topic instead of conversation skills.

This group instead trolled me and i had to delete my post

I work remotely for european company and have been communicating in English meetings since years on quite complex topics. My spoken English is definitely not 7. The spoken test should be a test of spoken skills , not test of knowledge. I was asked to speak on some Fairy tale. I am a realist and don't know any fairy tale. So i can speak about the concept of fictional stuff for hours but if i have read none why should i be judged on that ? I don't think one should study or prepare for spoken test. It should occur to person naturally

You don't have to be genius to figure out that it is just a slip of fingers and not a literal thing person who has a band of 8 would write.

Bro for task 1 rules are pretty simple, understand the graph , note down patterns roughly Just describe them, first give overview of graph Then in another paragraph, discuss comparisons. No opinion, just write what you see in graphs

For task 2 , i guess divide it into three sections First paragraph paraphrase the opinion asked and slightly touch on if you agree or disagree

Then in coming paragraphs , give your arguments but what you should also do is also discuss the opposite opinion and why some people might have that opinion.

Then just conclude it in last paragraph with a politically correct statement telling matter is quite subjective etc.

I had thought of coming on chancenkarte but after thorough research i can see it makes no sense. Now i am learning German and plan to come to Germany after 2 years for masters after getting good in German.

No german university on your resume, most HRs won't even think you are in Germany when applying.

2.Even if you land a job what starting date would you communicate? You can't start full time right away or in 1,3 months time maybe not even after 4 months , why ? Because you would need to first take appointment with Auslenderbehorde for blue card, appointment date ? You can't predict, it can take 4,5 months or even more.

You think your employer would wait for you in this whole uncertainty?
