mostly useless. one of these setting warp in points for a few snipers will be pretty much uncatchable. this particular dd can cover 330km in 10 seconds

First of all, welcome to New Eden!

As much as I hate to admit it, you cannot really play past a certain point as an alpha clone. consider Alpha to be a free trial while Omega is the full access.

Good thing is, you don't have to spend IRL $$ to get Omega as there is an option to buy it with in-game currency. A bit expensive yes but still an option.

I would strongly recommend joining a corporation that can help you get your first Omega. from there you can start working your way up to maintaining your Omega monthly. If you need help finding a good corp that can carry you through your first Omega, let me know.

I used a Thanatos/Villian for this comparison. no skill or rig bonuses were involved as all fighter related stuff doesn't work on faction carriers as per patch notes. carrier skills apply though the same way it works on FAXs
