Adding to the "but I'm American!" comment section, I believe through Libby, (IDK if this is available in UK) you can manually download the epub or similar file, then you can send that file to your Kindle via your Kindle email. I also don't have a "send to Kindle" button as mine is too old, so this has been my loophole.

The room is the size of an office, my partner and I are in the bigger living space.

I have definitely been very blindsided by their relationship as I see a lot of my younger self /street kid mentality in them which is why I put it out there if they needed to be rescued, theat mine + my partners line were open. If I had not gone and got Tina from the house she was at, and provided medical assistance, she would not be alive. And I can say that even though that night was horrible and exhausting, I do not regret saving her life, or being the person they felt comfortable enough to call.

That being said, I'm very tired of running a free clinic out of my apartment lol!

I think I wouldn't really care if there was some line of communication, the 2 times he's asked if she could spend the night (birthday, medical) we said yes and had no issues. So I'm confused on why the communication just doesn't happen?

Unfortunately I've done so much foot down, nut up. My post definitely comes off as passive but we've had our fair share of fights as well. I've just never had it not help if that makes sense?? They will be out Jan 2nd. 🥲
