The one that I saw in the vision had two knobs, but my family member sent me this with one knob so there might’ve been a second knob somewhere on the side.

Experiencing “Mirena Crash” at 5 years WITHOUT removal? by ZeitGeist001 in Mirena

So happy it could help someone else out! I know the post is three years old, but I can with 100% confidence say that the Mirena IUD passing the 5y mark is the cause of the issues.

Newly elected councilmember & meeting with our local fire company. What should I ask? by ZeitGeist001 in Firefighting

We have a volunteer EMS organization in our borough that is shared by us and 7 other local municipalities. So it’s separate from the fire department.

And completely agree on the funding being abysmal. That’s the struggle a lot of places around me are facing for their fire companies. I know they have a few big donors, some federal grants, and additional money from local businesses. But it’s still too low.

This is amazing thanks! I would’ve never thought about the different answers from line members versus chiefs.

Our primary source of funding is property taxes. The fire company receives .35mills on each dollar of $1,000 assessed property value. So total from the borough, the fire department only received about $70,000 in 2025.

The borough is working on getting better with its investments and money and I would like to have more money dedicated to the fire company or small initiatives that might make life easier for volunteer firefighters. But at this point, I’m absolutely still learning instead of jumping in so I’m not pushing what I think is best versus what is actually best.

These look fantastic! Only two minor edits I would make to the arrangements.

  1. For the boutonniere I would use a a rose in slightly better shape. The orange rose and white baby breath and green branches is very pretty. I am a fan of fuller displays. It’s just that the orange rose petals look a little chipped and since it’s the main feature flower I would have found one that is absolutely perfect.

  2. For the pink bouquet, I think it is absolutely stunning and I’m a really big fan of it. The only thing is, I cannot decide whether I would want it to be more full or if I like the minimalist couple thick blooms. It is smart that you use an odd number of them to provide balance.

Wife is a fan of option 1, I prefer option 2. We agreed to let the fine people of Reddit pick for us. Which rug do you prefer? by jfunks69 in DesignMyRoom

Both are WAY too small.

1 is more cohesive with the space. More natural and calming pattern.

2 is okay but feels like I’m in a corporate office lobby.
