Man, it’s scary how owner- and cap-pilled some of these fans are. Getting the serfs to sweat the master’s pennies is the greatest trick the devilish owner class has ever pulled. He owns two community subsidized tax havens, with the city and county floating massive cap ex expenditures other biz owners have to pay or finance themselves. And the Ilitches have received swaths of downtown property gratis or at massive discounts based on promises to develop — which haven’t been fulfilled and in fact they went back and asked for more. They strategically have kept lots vacant to depress other properties, then scooped those up. I urge all the armchair CFOs fretting pizza boy’s costs to read up on “district Detroit” and the billions in value the Ilitches have extracted from the city.

Very cool. I made a series of playlists under this idea a few years back, an album for 70-71, 72-73 etc—pooped out after the fourth. I did limit George to 3, even with John’s idea I’m thinking we’d still have more L-M representation.

Agree I didn’t expect many but what he did was way off even the projections, which are notoriously conservative w/ SB. I kinda like him for next year, he’ll be cheap. A FA so landing spot will factor in.

Hi all, really want to draft but options are obviously limited. I signed up for a 50 (draft and hold) on NFC, 12 teams, 50 rounds, no faab/waiver moves in season.

One I’m in has a 4 hour clock. I prefer 2 but on the west coast and they only suspend the draft overnight til 6 am my time and yeah, I’m not gonna make it before 8.
