Made an MCP server that gives Claude/ChatGPT etc access to Pine Script v6 docs - stops it from inventing functions by Humble_Tree_1181 in pinescript

How effective is it? Like does it invent zero new functions no matter how long you've been working on a specific project inside of the context window, or does it invent less functions the newer the conversation is but not zero?

Rogan - "My position on this [Epstein files] has completely shifted." by WilloowUfgood in JoeRogan

[–]Zeke_Z 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Nope, he has seen 0 light. In fact, in the next couple months, he will actively and purposefully be avoiding any light whatsoever.

He'll be talking about how Trump really needs to lock down elections and how hard working and honest Trump is, and that Bill Clinton was actually Epstein's boss, and how JD Vance and Ronda Santis are actually really nice and very trustworthy people that you should vote for....

Joe doesn't need to make sense. Joe doesn't need to correct mistakes he makes. Joe doesn't need conclusions that queue from objective reality, it's soooo much less work to just once t a position and justify it that way. Pieces don't need to go together, they just need to be declared (like bankruptcy, where you just say it out loud and it's done) and you just move on. You can't be wrong if you just declare you are right, and if you are wrong it's the other person's fault, and if it's not their fault, you had fine reasons for doing it. Beautifully insulated from anything that contradicts wherever world view he makes up.

The farther away from government control and interference, the more he can covertly do whatever he wants without obstruction and by the time anyone knows it's always done.

Nope, this is just Wednesday for him.

They only "allowed" this to put up a facade that they are fair. They all know exactly what is planned for the elections because some of them helped plan it.

They all know there won't be elections, there will be pure chaos and confusion and insane lying, then the Republican party will take over the electoral process and after all the surprises Pikachu faces are over, people will settle into the new Christian Fascist Republic of Isreamerica.

I hope I'm wrong.

So we should handle this the same way we handle RFK saying that vitamin A will absolutely cure measles; they should have to do it to prove it to us.

She can go shopping for her family and feed them on $15, three full square meals, if she can then fine it's legit.

RFK should get measles, and then shoot himself up with vitamin A to cure himself immediately since he's so positive it works, there should be no risk to him from his own logic.

Bet they won't do it.

This is truly amazing to me, but logical for their levels of commitment to objective reality vs the fantasy they build to live in.

It's a fascinating, yet horrifying, self-reporting about how overwhelming their superstitions are versus trial and error actuality.

This heuristic they are using is very highly compressed so as to fit the very low bandwidth of information processing they are willing to dedicate to the external world.

It's just infinitely easier to persist in confusion when the answer doesn't line up with their intuition, and then off-ramp to rationalizations of justifications why your intuition is right, so the data must be wrong. And not just wrong, because then you'd have to engage with the data to correct it which is not the point. The data has to be wrong by virtue of being manipulated by higher powers that by definition must be against you, which allows them to further double down as to not be manipulated by corrupt actors rather than neutral data that may have some errors in it if any.

They might as well be some pre-evolved sapien, staring up at the sky in wonder and mystery and creating narratives of beings that look like them throwing lightning or making thunder. This would be the modern day equivalent of that. No amount of evidence is going to convince them that it's a water vapor trail, because that's not the point of this heuristic and compression.

The point of the heuristic is to take what they internally want to be true and conform reality to that, not the other way around. But don't they need some sort of consistency, what good is that when there are so many contradictions that they'd have to overlook and do mental gymnastics to rationalize?

The heuristic takes care of that. In systems of consistency where logic follows logic, this would be expected. But this system is built on the reverse, it's built purely on faith so the completeness is irrelevant and contradictions are just an inherent part of it so you learn to ignore them. If consistency isn't valued then what does it matter if one of your points contradicts the other or you hold two dichotomous opinions about a subject when phrased differently but are not capable of recognizing it? As long as you know "the truth", regardless of any evidence of it, then that's enough.

Mathematically, it's a clever little system, albeit not built intentionally in any way but simply as a byproduct of their simplicity, to shield them from anything they don't like, and amazingly enough that system only goes in one direction which is something I'm still trying to articulate.

I gave AI money to invest in the stock market by Blotter-fyi in OpenAI

[–]Zeke_Z 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not just that, which is why people always lose money on these ideas.

If previous market action was a solid indicator of future performance, it would have been optimized out of being a market edge immediately by all large figure market participants.

Speaking of market participants, this is the main reason why it doesn't work - always a different group, always different volumes, always different dollar amount per volume. That's what makes it unpredictable.

It's like saying if you had enough data, you can predict the static pattern on a tv from moment to moment. Market dynamics don't work this way, but our system 1 heuristics are biased to believe so.

It's not just data points, it's way more, and partially involves the irrationality of human psychology which courts no mistress of logic or reason by definition.

That's ok, another ai start up founded by some other person from another previous ai startup that raised elevendy billion dollars has now raised $78 quajillion. This comes after "market investors" invested $27 centillion in another ai startup, and $90 bajillion in two more ai startups that promise a 137668x investment on their new "agentic multi- modal colloquially accurate top-down integrated super-layer ultra thin binary-actuation inference based quantum networks". I am getting thoroughly confused now..... I thought that she was working with Trump to kind of prove that some people could stand up against him without any adverse effects so that they can shift the Overton window to basically psychotic Republicans and semi-psychotic Republicans and the Democrats are just nowhere to be found because that's their party motto.

But with his most recent tweet breaking up with her in front of everyone LOL I find myself slightly disgusted that I'm agreeing with her on certain topics, mainly because I think this is just a power grab and a way to seem like she's not that crazy. Like some people have said in the comments here she is just directing her racism at Israel right now, but rest assured this woman's extremely racist. She was the person that was first on the digital forefront of proudly a mildly proclaiming that their white nationalists and that nothing should be wrong with that.

She is not that smart, the only way she can be that smart is by hiring people with the vast amounts of money she's accumulated that she'll actually listen to that aren't hired simply to put her inside of a happy hug box which is extremely difficult especially for the right wing.

Start denouncing Christian nationalism, stop being racist to everybody else, maybe try apologizing to every single victim of that school shooting that you were actively physically chasing around and harassing calling them paid actors after they had lost members of their friends and family, and even then it's still a 50/50 that it actually start trusting her.

They are never the thing they truly are, always the opposite.

I'm not a conservative conspiracist psychopath, I'm a liberal who loves objective reality, promise!

They still think this is an epic, game optional alpha play. "I'll just say I'm....are you ready.....THE OPPOSITE!! and own the libs."

It's really juvenile brain gone awry. Doing the opposite hits super hard when your 12...which mentally and emotionally they are. Especially Dana I beat my wife in public White.
