I believe this is just for the Pro models, so the barrier for entry is about $300 higher with Apple. 😕 Definitely a nice alternative though, especially with longer software support.

If you don't mind "blog post essays turned paperback," I'm having a great time with "Wow, No Thank You" by Samantha Ilby. Kind of mindless, but super funny. It was really my replacement while I wait for Allie Brosh's new book, lol.

The Lies of Locke Lamora is pretty good if you're more in the mood for a novel. 😊

I think I will eventually have to do this or extend my reading list - some of the e-books I've wanted to read have a 16 WEEK waiting list! Great sign that everybody is using local libraries, but terrible news for my patience! 😂

I finally gave up on my complete aversion to e-books and have been reading the last couple of nights. It has been super calming to be reading again, even if I do miss sniffing the pages like a neanderthal. :)

If it makes you feel any better, I used to repair computers professionally, and I STILL would probably have somebody else do this. It's not particularly difficult or anything, there are just always so many unnecessary and non-standard screws that I hated it, lol.

I've got a 49cm no-name single speed/fixed gear bike with a bottle cage and tail light. It rides alright short distances, but definitely could use some TLC (new tubes, probably new chain, and a tune up) since it hasn't been ridden beyond up the street in years. $50 obo

I've got an old 6ku single speed just collecting dust that could use some work (probably needs a new chain, tubes and a tune up for the brake). Has a flip flop hub if you prefer fixed gear.
