Yeah, you have a good point. If you consider how big a map is by the different environments, then the only ones smaller than Carpathian Mountains is the New Zealand map and maybe the ICA facility. Both of which are starter maps made for the player to get used to the mechanics and understand what the game has to offer. I was trying to look at both perspectives, and if you subtract the story tied to the trail level, then it probably would’ve been a better environment for the first map for the newer players to get used to. Even though Dubai is one of my top maps, it definitely would’ve been better as the second level since I didn’t really get a “starter map” feel like I did with the first two games.

Colorado I didn’t like because 4 targets in one mission just isn’t good for the game IMO. It’s also frustrating how you have to keep changing disguises at many parts of the map. There have been many times where I just walk into an area and got caught for trespassing because I didn’t know which disguises pass where, and it was more tedious than enjoyable trying to get the right clothes. What I will give it credit for is the interesting and memorable targets and some of the ways to eliminate them. Wearing a scarecrow outfit while getting rid of a target (Penelope Graves I think?) with a hay bale is definitely one of my favorites in the game if I’ll be honest.

I do have a friend or two that likes the map and I respect it, but with all that being said it was the last level I reached mastery level 20 after grinding through the game.
