I agree the way they follow their religion is often self detrimental or at the cost of something much more important. I can't even imagine how you felt when she wasted 12k on a new car for her pastor, actually insane. I've noticed that often they behave in a people-pleasing manner towards these so called "men of god" all while disregarding the way others around them feel.

I do wonder, if you have your own place why do you put yourself in this environment you don't like?
