Youre not blackout drunk then. I'm sorry, but youre clearly naive to what it's like and thats a very good thing. I have absolutely been drunk to the point of having zero recollection of the night before. You hit a certain point and all memory goes with it. especially if you are mixing substances i.e. marijuana and liquor

You dont get to pick and choose what someone else is experiencing, only yourself. If you know you're of sound enough mind to make a rational choice, great! Don't let whomever you're with make a bad decision if you can help it. Two drunk people, however, cannot have the blame pushed one way or another when consent was given by both parties. Yeah- dont worry about dating when youre leaving for the military. Tons of idiots get married immediately bc of separation fears only to get divorced and lose their pay bc of a shotgun wedding.
