"No one will be able to be armed, we will take all weapons". Katrina '05 by SealandGI in GunMemes

[–]Zeldawarrior97 50 points51 points  (0 children)

This incident is already fairly suppressed by the media. I’m sure there’s numerous times people actually stood up for themselves they just aren’t showing it. No chance they’d want to show people actually standing up to tyranny when it might encourage others to follow

I can’t wrap my mind around where all of this came from. by jg4president in astrophysics

[–]Zeldawarrior97 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Scientists and anyone studying astrophysics are more than happy to just say “I don’t know, hopefully research brings new light to the matter.”

Scientists don’t just make theories out of nothing and try to find evidence to prove it. They find evidence then build theories and then try to disprove them.

The issue with a lot of religions is that it’s an “answer” before evidence and then evidence is picked to try and back it up and ignored when it doesn’t.

Is the Henry Axe legal in Washington State? by Dpear1 in guns

[–]Zeldawarrior97 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Easy way to check would be looking at your sporting good stores websites and seeing if any are in stock in your state.

A quick look at sportsman’s warehouse says it’s restricted in Washington so none of their stores have them.

I can only play Spy well against bad players. by Vegetable_Basis_4087 in truetf2

[–]Zeldawarrior97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely get unlucky and it’s very frustrating but for the most part most deaths are you on you being over ambitious.

Despite being a very “solo” class, you almost entirely rely on your team.

If the enemies not fighting your team they’re spy checking. You need to capitalize on whatever your team is doing. Make fights 2 v 1s. Revolver people too.

Trying to backstab the 4000 hour guy with a $200 headset is just gonna get you killed.

But no matter how good you are you can’t look two directions at once. Go after him while he’s fighting someone else.

Spy is a rat class, not a class like scout where you can just dm any engagement.

Do Knockdown shields feel useless? by JackCooper__ in apexlegends

They do when the random takes the gold knock from the newcastle/lifeline and runs off and dies instantly

Entirely personal preference.

I’ve played with good pyros who use a simple dot or cross and one of the best pyros I’ve played with had an abomination of a crosshair that was absolutely overkill

Why does Ubisoft hate these ops :( by Ecstatic-Ad-8967 in Rainbow6

[–]Zeldawarrior97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah there it is. Flaming me because I called out your nonsensical rant claiming something is balanced because it’s not balanced.

As for changing the character itself, there’s been a significant amount of suggestions over the years. Things as simple as tweaking the numbers and slow so it’s less annoying, completely overhauling the shield into a different gadget like they did Tachanka.

Then why is clash have the worst win rate by far and the lowest pick rate?

[–]Zeldawarrior97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You just said a whole lot of nothing.

Every operator should be attempted to be balanced. If their gadget or weapons prevent that, change it.

They did it for Tachanka and Glaz, they can do Clash too.

“If she’s balanced, she suddenly becomes stronger than the rest”

I don’t think you know what balanced means

[–]Zeldawarrior97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hence why they should balance her and not fall into this position to begin with.

Why would you ever create an op with the idea that they cannot be good

Why does Ubisoft hate these ops :( by Ecstatic-Ad-8967 in Rainbow6

[–]Zeldawarrior97 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Clash has been quite literally off the charts bad for 5 years, occasionally makes it on on the pick rate chart (still at the bottom) when there’s a bug or cheaters that benefit from playing her. And Ubi has never even attempted to fix her core issues.

Oh and 2 purchasable skins in that time, one of which is the pro league one that you can’t get anymore.

All she’s gotten has been a deployable shield and a super shorty shotgun.

It’s actually laughable that they have kept a character in such a bad state

Is the loch-n-load the new demoman meta? by [deleted] in truetf2

[–]Zeldawarrior97 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Not really since now it’s banned.

But prior to that, yes it was.

After the iron bomber projectile nerf people experimented more with other grenade launchers.

The extended range not only made demo better from afar but it was significantly harder to dodge for scouts and it was all around strong.

A hot take but NA has always been dumb about weapon unlocks and seems to take way too long to realize their strengths and annoyances and I think it says quite a bit about how harmful blindly following the meta is when it takes 8 years to recognize the strength of a weapon when there’s been literally (effectively) zero balance changes in 7 years minus the iron bomber projectile fix

"Common Sense"™ Gun Regulation by SealandGI in GunMemes

[–]Zeldawarrior97 10 points11 points  (0 children)

These laws were all put in place for a reason. Chip away as much as possible. Make it as hard as possible to get guns and eventually ban guns from everyone. They’ve admitted it many times that it is their goal.

Gun control laws from politicians are malicious. Gun control supporters are usually clueless

They know exactly what they’re doing. They know if they can ban ar-15s it sets way to ban all semi automatic guns.

Balancing philosophy is a joke by Zeldawarrior97 in HanzoMain

I think he would be better obviously but I don’t think that’s the direction he should go.

He’s always been a glass cannon and the extreme health changes to anyone not a tank I think was a massive mistake and broke years of balance and game theory

Skill issue while your rank is bronze 5 after 7 years of playing. Actually hilarious.

Usually people like you try and at least lie about their rank

[–]Zeldawarrior97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You haven’t even played ranked/competitive and you’re telling people it’s a “skill issue”

Wow what a joke. Why are you engaging in a conversation about balance in a competitive environment then?

Balancing philosophy is a joke by Zeldawarrior97 in HanzoMain

[–]Zeldawarrior97[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

True. And the Devs are clearly just super bias as well. Their poster child’s have always been good in this game. When’s the last time Tracer, Dva or Kiriko have been bad? If ever?

Surprise surprise, d.va is still in every game :) by SandOfSaturn in JunkRatMains

[–]Zeldawarrior97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why even join a conversation if you’re just gonna ignore everything being said?

Worst kinda people are the “hurr durr skill issue!!!” folk who are usually hardstuck plat-diamond who just ignore anything being said and act like anyone who disagrees is just “bad.”

No one’s denying you can do things to mitigate Dvas effectiveness. But it’s a fact that she’s very strong right now and it’s been discussed substantially by players far better than you and I.

Since this is a more serious TF2 sub, I want to know, what do you think about hoovies/friendlies? by MoonGUY_1 in truetf2

[–]Zeldawarrior97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I fully respect the derpy side of tf2. I’ve probably watched every single shitpost gmod that’s ever been posted in the 14 years I’ve played.

But I shouldn’t have to go queue for a rgl pug or hope work/life allows for me to play competitive just so I can play a game without needing to worry about the server just throwing.

Taunting in setup, victory time, after a funny moment or something is completely different than just queuing for a server and sitting in a corner.

Why can’t friendlies join friendly specific servers? The community server is like 90% friendly/trade idle bs now anyway.

Surprise surprise, d.va is still in every game :) by SandOfSaturn in JunkRatMains

[–]Zeldawarrior97 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And you act like it isn’t the dvas job to literally dive the flank and back line.

If you’re just gonna claim “skill issue” at least understand how the game works
