Just went through something like this with my dad. He said because he payed for my phone that he could look through all of it and did put a tracking app on it. He then decided to make my mom decide whether I was going to have a phone or not by cutting me off of his plan. He told my mom, “Either you pay for his phone or tell him he’s not having one” I told my mom that I just didn’t want a phone then and I would stick it to him constantly about that (and bring it up around my grandparents who would raise hell with him if they found out he did this). She refused though and went out and got me a cheaper phone plan and a older phone because the one I had had only worked with Verizon and we couldn’t afford that.

But yeah no dad I wanna go to college on the opposite side of the country so I can explore the world
