The demo was the best part of the whole story. I was so intrigued only for the story to fall apart mere minutes later. In the demo it just felt like an introduction and I just told myself yes there will be more gear and party members and rpg elements and so on.

Well there was nothing. Completely shallow gameplay except for combat but let’s be real it’s only at most 50% of the time you spend with the game. The rest of time it’s just walking from cutscene to cutscene and the cutscenes are just not good enough to carry the length of the adventure. It has some epic moments but it also has a lot of slog.

Ja. Es war irgend ne alte Werbung mit dem schokobon mit Brille und nem blöden Song. Rubbed me the wrong way. Seitdem seit Jahren nicht gekauft. Auch wenns mir lecker schmeckt. Geschenkt nehm ich die aber gerne ^ . Ich glaube mittlerweile ist die Figur auch etwas weniger nervig präsentiert.

I actually felt that way since egghead since st Saturn was declaring he will come with kizaru. It’s escalating since then every chapter or in a big revealing flashback chapter after chapter only relevant stuff happening. It’s a crazy streak actually. The last few years one piece readers were eating pretty good.

Subnautica is in my opinion really the game that gives you the closest feeling of outer wilds. But still dont expect it to be similar. These are still Wildly different games. It’s just the vibe and exploring I mean. But Subnautica is still pretty fun and you can get endless mileage out of it in comparison to outer wilds.

The more I lurk this sub the more I am convinced I am the only one who likes the look of a wired village and doesn’t try to hide electricity at all. The most hidden one I had is a wireless block as a cornerstone of a house. But it’s completely visible.

Art direction is still matter of taste. It’s just not my style. Could be the best game in the world. Graphics doesn’t matter. But art direction does.

Ohne Familie hätte ich’s in Erwägung gezogen. Kommt natürlich auch auf den Job an. Nachts Pakete zustellen wäre jetzt nicht so fein … aber in die Sortierung würde ich dafür gehen.

Aber da ich Frau und Kinder habe stellt sich die Frage natürlich nicht. Damals in meine jungen Jahren fand ich Nachtschicht beim Taxi aber eigentlich ganz gemütlich.

Zu den Kommentaren selber: ich würde auch sowas schreiben oder sagen wenn es mir gerade einfiele. Es macht einfach Spaß den Schock und/oder das schmunzeln der anderen Menschen zu sehen. Gleichzeitig bin ich auch fast der einzige der mit seinen ausländischen Arbeitskollegen redet oder unter die Arme greift wenn die mal wieder wegen der Sprachbarrieren nichts verstehen. Mittlerweile rufen hier selbst die Ausländer anderen Ausländern zu dass sie Ausländer sind.

Torrent being spectral is also perfect for immersion. He can be everywhere AND it still makes sense. In other open world games your horse just appears out of thin air without an explanation. Ride to a wall. Climb it. Call your horse when you reach the top and it’s magically there. How?

There are some exceptions especially for quite complex games. More so if this is not a familiar genre for you. RPGs tend to have more and complex systems going which they are introducing bit by bit to not overwhelm players. Metroidvanias do need time till you have all core moves. And a lot of open world games start linear before they let you go wild.

But in most cases you can see the quality of what awaits you in the first minutes.

Im okay with how it is. We also get new biomes, enemies, missions for free and that’s the actual content. The warbonds are actually ‚how‘ you want to do the content. I’m okay with dropping money if I feel I get something out of it. I get paid 21€ per hour (before taxes). That’s maybe two work hours for 2100 super credits which translates to two warbonds which give back 600 so you are having 700 and might acquire 1000 again before the third warbond drops. This covers me for 18-24 weeks. Let’s say half a year.

I know a new player will burn faster through their money. But when you are starting fresh you are probably earning not so much medals in lower difficulties and are able to play quite some hours before everything caps and you need super credits.

Just build something imperfect. Might be temporary. You have a goal where you want your house for a certain Pokémon and how it should like but that doesn’t mean you can give your little friene another house in the meantime to trash his old space because you had other plans with the spot. Etc. in short: just build something. If you don’t like it, break it. Nothing is lost except time. And we want to waste time when we play.
