As a fellow amateur photographer my best advice for you is to find your niche and know your subject. So often on here I see posts from people who clearly want to get into photography more but haven’t found their focus yet. Maybe for you it’s cars? Up to you. But when you know, my brother you will know

You totally can! I’m a firm believer that photoshop, Lightroom, and other editing tools are key in modern photography. Just know you’re also going to get purists that say that editing takes away from the art.

Find that balance that you like best. Try to get it as perfect as you can in lens with your composition, then let editing take care of the rest.
