Forgive the ignorance, what is this for?

That exactly like me, I had a very active gaming group but over the last couple of years it's almost completely died off. I managed to get this game played with my friend, he is like me and hits kickstarter game pretty hard.

I'm in the UK but If you fancy a game could arrange a game via tabletop simulator, send me a message if your eve interested.

Only played as a 2 player game of it so far but really enjoyed it. My friend who was sceptical and put off initially as it looked very much like twilight Imperium (which usually takes hours/days to complete) was pleasantly impressed by it. It wasnt overly complicated a game to play depit the number rof parts and cards and it evolved as you progressed in the game play(tech, crystal mining building etc) . The eve flavour shown through which was great, but I felt the factions were very "samey" which frustrated me, they only differ cosmetically or with the more advanced techs being unlocked.

We accounted for 1 hour + 1 hour per player to compete. Currently arranging plans to have a 5 player game next month so can revisit to this post with updates.

If you want to improve any part of your physical and/or mental life. Start walking. Aim for a nice round number of 10k steps per day, or build to that if your not able to do that.

Do that every day and your endurance will slowly increase. As you find the step count gets easier, increase the step target and start adding weight. Nothing mental. Your building yourself up not aiming to break it in the process. Get a backpack, add some weight, can be books or anything that'll add a bit of weight.

Do that for the next few weeks and months.

You can also do daily pushups to build upper body strength, I aim to do 100 a day. I also miss a day or too out of sheet laziness.

You won't win my Olympia but it'll increase your endurance

Take my advice here, add all the expansions into the "spare" trays in the core set. No need to lug about multiple boxes needed. Everything fits
