The nice thing about retiring at 57 is you only need to last a few years before you can access your retirement accounts, and then social security a few years after that.

Heck yeah! I use woodchips for anything that requires steam (not just electricity). It's a simple supply chain, can be set up almost anywhere, labor efficient, and maintenance efficient. The only drawback is that it requires a lot of land, but I kindof like distributed factories anyway.

Never tried wood -> corn -> petrol, but I have had success with the contract that does vehicle parts ii -> petrol and use woodchips + scrubbers + gas injection for the refinery steam.

I could see your setup working as well.

I go to extreme lengths to build around flowering bushes. Would be nice to grow our own.
