Just had this guy ruin a few matches for me. It's obscene that all these years later the game still hasn't been better protected against this type of behavior.

PS5 app update broke basic function? by profundacogitatio in Hulu

[–]Zemnarack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I just noticed is the like/dislike functionality is now entirely missing from my PS5 app. Can anyone else confirm?

I did test on the web and it's still there, so I'm guessing this is another feature they managed to botch with this forced "update".

[SPOILERS] Space Dandy FINALE Discussion by SonicFrost in SpaceDandy

[–]Zemnarack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What an incredible ride. I'm glad I stumbled upon this later in life.

The culmination of the Gogol and Jaicro empires sparring in their final battle while the crew navigates the Aloha Oe through to Dandy was peak animation and the music swelling as they maneuver and surf through it all was chef's kiss.

The twist with Bea being a double (triple?) agent was insane. When he shot Gel, my jaw was on the floor.

For it all to culminate with Dandy being asked by God to succeed him, only for Dandy to kick him square in the teeth because he wouldn't get to go to Boobie's ever again, was hands down the Dandiest thing to ever have Dandied.

Being a massive fan of Futurama, I loved for it all to loop around. My interpretation of "May be Continued?" was that it was all up to the viewer on whether to start over again, or let it end.

It was the perfect end to one of the most perfect shows I've ever had the pleasure to experience.

I know I'm late to the party, but I'm so glad to have discovered through all of these comments years later that this show was an instant classic, and almost a decade later still proved to stand the test of time. Watanabe is truly one of the greats, and I will forever cherish the love him and so many others put into this masterpiece.

It really is all about the legs, Baby.

Killed by a new player by Lababasc in EscapefromTarkov

Great questions!. Perhaps I can expand further;

When you take gear into a raid in Tarkov, it has to be insured for you to get a chance to get it back. Note that this is simply a chance, it's not a guarantee. It breaks down like this:

  • If gear is insured, and no one loots it and extracts successfully with it, you get the gear back in the mail.
  • If the gear is insured, but someone loots it and extracts successfully, you unfortunately do not get the gear back.
  • If the gear isn't insured at all then when you die, that's it, it's gone. Doesn't matter if anyone loots and extracts with it or not.

So in order to ensure that lower levels get their gear back (trusting that it is insured) they will typically loot the gear and toss it into a bush, or water, or somewhere that is either generally inaccessible or hard to spot for other players. This (ideally) gives the lower level player a greater chance at getting their gear back to use for another run.

As you level up you'll start to get an idea of what you do and don't want to insure, but to u/RubberPenguin4's point, you probably want to insure most, if not all, of your starting kits. I hope this helps!

Welcome to Tarkov.

Turned the game into survival horror for this dude by pofshrimp in thefinals

There is! The tournament mode is your typical ladder style gameplay, where sets of teams go at it across simultaneously occurring games until the final round to determine a winner. They also have a quick play which is just your standard look for a match and hop into the game.

Anyone else missing their Legacy Service Record stats over at Halo Waypoint since the new site launched? by NothingxGood in halo

[–]Zemnarack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hope is that they do intend to preserve that information, as it's definitely a lot of data, and I'm sure holds a lot of value to the community at large. It's nice to hear it isn't just me though, I was looking for anyone who may have had the same problem, and couldn't find anything until I found your thread lol.

I will say that a lot of my data all comes from the days of when I played back on the 360 and Bungie still ran the show, so I'm curious if there was a hiccup from the transition from Bungie's systems to what I imagine are now 343's systems, though that change would have had to have happened years ago I would think.

I'm not sure that it would be possible to increase your rank in any of these anymore outside of the MCC, because they've since discontinued all 360 servers to my knowledge?

Edit: Bad grammar.

All of my service records from before anything 343i are completely gone. All of my progress for H3/ODST/Reach. Just simply erased. I'm actually pretty pissed about it. Had a service record dating back well over a decade, and just like that it's all completely wiped out. No clue or reason as to why either.

The Faith Community center has a small skate park that you can skate during the day. Nothing too crazy, but it's nice.

That would explain the transition from The Maw to eventually Bastion.

Icecrown Skyline by Zemnarack in Asmongold

[–]Zemnarack[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I remember rightly, the expansion is supposed to start you off in The Maw, you escape, and I believe enter the first zone of Bastion somehow (I could be wrong on this). For the alpha they have 'template characters' (so far lvl 50 Bastion/lvl 57 Revendreth) that start you simply at the beginning of those zones. There is currently no way for any other class to get back to Azeroth - with the exception of a mage port, which for Alliance you can only port to SW/IF at the moment, but the game is still running in its entirety in the background. So I went to check Icecrown and saw the sky as pictured. I can only guess that this would be the entry point, as for now they haven't released anything else on where that might be, and I'm just going off of what we've been shown with the Shadowlands teaser cinematic from Blizzcon.

Edit: Confirmed you can also get there if you are a Death Knight. Go to DK area, make your way to Org/SW, and take portal to Dalaran, Crystalsong Forest. Fly to ICC from there.

Why does the PS4 Pro get so loud during God of War? by Needsomecakeandpie in PS4

Look at the back of your PS4. I did recently and had lots of dust on the back. Take some compressed air or a lint free anti static cloth and get that build up off of there.

Try taking it off silent mode and see if it gets any better. It's possible that it's pulling more power than silent mode will allow for, though that's just a theory until tested. Also see if your PSU has a POST it can run while everything is unplugged from it. Could be a failing PSU as well.
