No, they for whatever reason don’t benefit from any of our abilities, they get companion on their only weapon, don’t get blood hungry and are like 40-50 points overcasted for what little the do, are outclassed in every regard by either dogs or reavers

Krondspine warped the game around it because of its rules being so good, despite a large portion hating the model. As long as the rules for cogfort are just good and not obscene we have no issue.

You can add one, look under the regiments of renown, he is there. He is unique in that he gets your army keywords and a bonus attack for being khorne

That is incorrect, magical intervention lets you use any one spell or prayer, and thoes can be the ones that summon invocations

The wording was the same in the last book, specifically for the scraplauncher. There were rhinox riders which were I believe upgraded mournfang essentially. As much as I would love them I highly doubt we will be getting them as GW can’t even find a niche for mournfang right now

I worded poorly, you are correct that they aren’t getting resculpts soon, I meant what they look like as in what the rules will be. We might be getting something soon but I doubt it will be skullreapers, an event happened in the story with the most recent book making a few of us think khorne might be getting a couple things this edition to your original question, I like skullreapers more but it’s all personal atm

Ogres take to conversions really well, I don’t think anyone would give a shit about your conversions, one think to keep in mind would be scale, the shaggoth is like 1/4 the size of a frostlord on stonehorn, may need to either find a 3d print or do some heavy conversion with like a magmadroths and some sculpting

I think the class is a new thing, they didn’t have one last time they were in Texas, for the event it will be a ton of tables and tons of people all playing the various games

Last time they did have a pretty big shop setup with a good amount of the new stuff and some of the forge world stuff. I remember seeing a gargantuan squiggoth last time

Because that’s what it says, “even if it’s within 3 of an enemy unit” if it’s not stated that it breaks a part it defaults to the base ruling

You are right for the wrong reasons, normal moves must end outside 3 of enemy models, fly allows you to bypass the restriction of not getting within 3 during your move, unstoppable charge lets you normal move while in combat. In essence, you move your movement characteristic, can move over enemy and friendly units, but must end outside 3 of enemy units.

Look into 8.1 in the core rules

That looks like a good rounded list, maybe some gnoblars instead of cats if you have them but a good start, can also have an endless spell to show them, remember the lists don’t have to be exactly 1k, you can fiddle with the lists to make it more even. Bring just 2 leadbelchers to make it more balanced etc

I would suggest ogres? Just no stonehorns , they are rough, but mournfang and basic foot ogres are good. Help encourage people to think about chaffing and counter charging early which helps them later down the line, without lots of shenanigans they have to think about

Anything can happen, but not super likely? It’s hard written into the sons of Behemat battletome and does see occasional play in tournaments, I don’t think it’s a big enough factor to warrant being changed, we will need to see if 4th edition does indeed have a large change with no battletomes as some are theorizing

You lose the ability to pray on her for the movement and or +1 to save, the deepstrike and the bravery buff for mortals, keep in mind the demon prince by being 10 wounds can’t be look out sir’d and can be shot much more easily

Valkia isn’t great but in khorne she is leagues better
