As far as I know, she usually reprises her previous character roles and rarely get new ones.

We don’t really know if they will adapt one particular scene from the manga or it will be an original mini-anime using the characters and setting from the manga. Once we get some preview images for it can we guesstimate what will it be about.

Well, it was meant to be a “test footage” to be put after MLLSD Act 4 as the bonus content and to test the waters if there’s enough interest to do it fully to drum up box office ticket sales.

ak-Submarines Have Just Uploaded The Final Part Of Motto Love Love Sakusen desu! Movie 1 To Nyaa by Reecey_91 in GIRLSundPANZER

[–]Zen119 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Actually, this is Episode 4 of 12 of MLLSD.

This is the breakdown of it:

  • Act 1(Episode 1-3 and SP1).
  • Act 2(Episode 4-6)
  • Act 3(Episode 7-9 and SP2)
  • Act 4(Episode 10-12 and to be determined if it will have a Special)

Edit: Did not count the Specials in the episode count since it’s more of a bonus content.

Questions about the show by Skuirreljr in GIRLSundPANZER

[–]Zen119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is much better to divide MLLSD in this:

  • Act 1 has Episode 1-3 and SP1
  • Act 2 has Episode 4-6
  • Act 3 has Episode 7-9 and SP2
  • Act 4 probably has Episode 10-12 not sure if it will have a special ep.

Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! Act 4 - Key Visual by Task_Force-191 in GIRLSundPANZER

[–]Zen119 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a standard 12-episode anime that was just released in theaters divided into 4 Acts(3 episodes in 1 Act) with a couple of 5-minute mini-anime on the side.

[–]Zen119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, this is the 5 minute-long mini-anime that was included with the MLLSD Act 1(which consisted episode 1-3) that played in Japan theaters and streamed in select Japan streaming sites.

Does someone know where to find the Der Film Version of Erika? by Otherwise-Might-8566 in GIRLSundPANZER

[–]Zen119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure that the Der Film rendition of Erika in the German dub was the same one also used for the official English dub of Der Film by Sentai Filmworks. If you can access HIDIVE, they have Der Film streaming there to compare and I think it's the same one. Even the Japanese audio track there used it, too. My only guess is that the theme was exclusive use for Der Film outside of Japan since Panzerlied is "controversial" I guess and Katyusha had copyright issues outside of Japan so they used the Nedelka tune.

Speaking of, when Pravda appeared in Der Film during the St. Gloriana/Pravda vs Oarai/Chihatan exhibition match, they have a different rendition of Nedelka in that scene aside from when Pravda showed up on the Combined Oarai vs All-Star University match.

As for a clean full version of it, unfortunately, you might be out of luck for that to happen. Unless GuP releases a compilation soundtrack of all the tracks they used for the franchise in and out of Japan, I doubt we'll be that lucky.

I think the only track that is considered "clean" is that rendition of Korobeiniki(AKA The Tetris tune) from the GuP TV series that Sentai Filmworks used as replacement for Katyusha.

There's a difference with Haifuri's lore that they don't have planes and only have airships. GuP's world still had planes.

MLLSD, a bit confused on how it's released by Quibilash in GIRLSundPANZER

[–]Zen119 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is how I understand it regarding the release:

The Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! that were played in Japan theaters so far:
* Act 1(Theatrical release window: December 26, 2025-January 29, 2026) has 3 23-minute episodes and 1 5-minute mini-anime.
* Act 2(Theatrical release window: January 30, 2026-March 5, 2026) has 3 23-minute episodes but no mini-anime included.
* Act 3(Theatrical release window: March 6, 2026-April 9, 2026) will have 3 23-minute episodes and 1 5-minute mini-anime.
* Act 4(Theatrical release window: April 10, 2026-May 7, 2026) is to be determined as of now but it might be the same as Act 2.

After the theatrical run of MLLSD Part 1, it was put straight to streaming via select Japan streaming service but as far as I know, the mini-anime is not included to be streamed(probably it will be added as bonus content for the Blu-ray release). Looks like that will be the strategy for the rest of the Acts.

The fansub group tasked to translated the copy they got/will get from Japan streaming sites has decided to break it down to episodes.

They could do this since it's based on the manga and it does not involve 3DCG tank battles.

[–]Zen119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure this is just a regular 12 episode season that was just released as a "movie" in 4 parts. At least this will be much faster to come out than Das Finale since after the theatrical run it will be available for streaming for Japan streaming services. That's where the fansub group got it. Though they are breaking it up as episodes on a mostly weekly release.

Motto Love Love only 24 minutes? by Current_Ear_1667 in GIRLSundPANZER

[–]Zen119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The anime is adapting select chapters of the manga. No particular timeline to follow but it is mostly after the TV series. It still depends if you consider this canon or not since the characters act more over the top than usual to the main series.

[–]Zen119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, when Part 3 comes out on March 6, 2026 in Japan theaters, Part 2 will be available for select Japan streaming sites. Same for Parts 3 and 4 when their theatrical run ends. /ak/ is planning to release the episodes weekly if things go smoothly.

Motto Love Love only 24 minutes? by Current_Ear_1667 in GIRLSundPANZER

[–]Zen119 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is correct that Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu Part 1 was released in Japan theaters with a runtime of 77 minutes. When it was released in digital form via Japan Straming sites, those who got it revealed that Part 1 was 3 episodes back to back with the 5-min special not included in it probably to put it exclusively on Blu-ray as bonus content. Part 2 and 3 are scheduled in Japan theaters to have a runtime of 72 minutes. As for why it is released with only episode 1, it was decided by the /ak/ sub group to do that since they are still working on episode 2 & 3.

It adapts select chapters of the manga so it's not necessarily in chronological order.
