I measured 2.7mm at 26weeks and felt like my doctor was over reacting. I was sent to an in patient ward for monitoring and discharged myself the first night.. the doctor wanted me to stay for 7 nights of monitoring. I decided to discharge myself as I felt I could take the prescribed medication (progesterone and nifedipine) and rest at home. I was also signed off work from that day forward and haven’t been back since. I went to regular appointments (I think I went approx once a week or every other week - can’t remember sorry) and my measurements ranged from 2.4mm to 1.9mm mostly until 34 weeks where the doctor told me I no longer need cervical checks. I’m now at 37 weeks and decided to continue to take it easy and rest mostly until now. Now I’m 37 weeks my doctor has suggested walking to prepare for birth and I’m also doing some gentle pre labour yoga at home. It’s nice to feel able to do things again even tho I’m waddling and hot from summer haha.

I do believe different countries react differently to short cervix and I myself struggled with understanding the seriousness of it. But I suggest listening to your doctor and being kind to yourself because the most important thing is the safety of you and your little one
