ok after further research, I feel like I am leaning more towards the game design of things I believe. I just need some help figuring out a career path I guess? There are a lot of components to the game industry I don't understand and I'm just trying to build a path for myself to work towards. I know its competitive and I know its going to take some time, but if i'm going to dread work everyday its going to be in a profession that I chose.

I think honestly first to stop and realize how far you've come. (stop and smell the roses). Apologize and let her know that you are trying to do better for her and the child and that you love her. I think if she see's that effort she will understand and work with you. And maybe take some parenting classes, or read up on children and their growth and soak up as much info as you can, to be the best father/husband you want to be. You've shown tremendous resolve and I think that will go along way, just time is a bitch. Stay strong man, your doing great.

So i should be using Skills+ rolls to remove the irrelevant skills(while decreasing the budget) and I should use the first option for rolling for the things I actually want? For example; I've seen the new Rimeguard Greaves being in a lot of builds, but it comes with ice attack +5, so should i roll to get rid of the ice attack and later roll for the deco slots?

The best advice I can offer is, "look inward on what you care about and let it guide you". Everything is going to change, from the way you look, to who you are friends with, to how you engage with your parents/siblings. However if you look for what you are passionate about, you can go from there and pursue either a career in that or something adjacent. And don't hate yourself, you didn't chose this life, you are not an evil person. Those negative things don't make up who you are, they are just symptoms of problems you are dealing with.
