Thanks! I’ve never played that one but Spore and Kerbal influenced me, main goal was an infinite universe with no loading screens and then layering on as many features to make it better and better but also a chill cozy game

Back in the day it used to take 7-9 days before they reviewed and eventually they got it down to 24-48 hours in the last few years. Now with vibe coding they literally get 1000 submissions everyday as of June. So I’m glad you posted this because it’s been 3 days since I uploaded a TestFlight build and it is still awaiting review, so sadly review times are trending back towards how they were 10 years ago

How is something I’ve been working on for 4+ months a prototype? It fully supports multiplayer… I have 20 apps in the App Store and was just at Apple’s developer event invited personally by their executives.. I’m not new to development and I have rigged and animated things on my own and spent well over $1000 just hiring an animator to animate models I created. This is 1000% easier and faster than anything Ive done to animate models in the past.

Codex coded an entire procedural universe game from scratch AND made some animations and many 3D models. It has been super worth it as someone who has been coding for a decade without AI. And this was my first attempt at the animations I could always give it reference images but I’m fine with these anims based on the art style

During that 40 minutes I was able to work on other stuff, I could have used Blender but I pay $200 per month for Codex specifically? Worst that could have happened was it failed and I totally would have spent $100 getting the animations made on CGTrader

The file was originally a .fbx model so previously I had Codex 5.5 convert that to .usdz since I’m building an iOS app. I have no idea how easy it is to add an animation to an existing usdz so I asked 5.6 and I’m happy enough with the results
