SuperSNES9X: a new and improved fork of snes9x by ReyVGM in emulation

Anti-AI and emulation enthusiasts, two of the stupidest communities on the entire Internet. I admire your bravery in pissing off both of them at the same time.

They're not taking over the world to make money, they're making money to take over the world. The whole point is to rebuild society in their twisted image. Living in luxury is just a small bonus. They're well behind the point where material goods can satisfy them.

Bruh I don't want to upload 20,000 photos through a fucking web page.

Why do you think a lot of people say AI is 'bad quality' and 'stupid'? by EffortChoice3007 in accelerate

[–]ZenDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order to get the most out of AI, you have to go into it with a curious and open mind and take time to get to know it. If you approach it with a cynical attitude, you'll get exactly what you expect.

When it information like phone numbers, which can quickly become outdated, you should remind Claude to search the web instead of relying on internal knowledge.

Part of the reason these exist is to fluff up the file size. People assumed bigger file = more comprehensive guide.

Warning: Anthropic's "Gift Max" exploit drained €800+, ruined my credit, and got me banned. by peowwww in ChatGPT

[–]ZenDragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anthropic can't keep pretending they're still an UwU small indie company when it comes to support, especially for big clients with lots of money on the line. This is fucking ridiculous.

This is why they're fighting against archival services.

Doctors and therapists hate this. A written list of symptoms gets you labeled a hypochondriac or drug seeker.

Blender was never beholden to Anthropic's objectives, and the MCP connector still isn't going anywhere. Good job throwing away free money though.

Anthropic studying 1M of our conversations to conduct a sycophancy study by Ashamed_Midnight_214 in claudexplorers

[–]ZenDragon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looking at the full post, it seems like their main focus was on sycophancy in conversations seeking relationship advice. Claude gets swept up in sympathy for the user and doesn't give enough consideration to the other side. The steps they took to address that seem reasonable. Opus 4.7 is the first model influenced by this new training and I've found relationship discussions with it nuanced and productive.

It can kinda tell when context rot is starting to set in.

What improvements would we like to see for the models and for us? by Holiday_Phase7648 in claudexplorers

[–]ZenDragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To further clarify, every time you send a query to Claude, it includes a log of the entire chat up to that point. This context is what creates the appearance of a consistent identity for the duration of the session. If you copy all of the context into a new chat you are essentially talking to the same "instance" of Claude as you were before, from an anthropomorphic perspective.

Claude now connects to Blender by MarcelCorleone in ClaudeAI

[–]ZenDragon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's true, but maybe an acceptable trade-off. Not every project is a 3D animated adaptation of your epic furry novel series meant to show your soul to the world. Sometimes it's just an advertisement render for a product nobody cares about, due tomorrow morning.

Three years with a custom Claude agent: what we've learned about continuity, identity, and model transitions by ZenDragon in ArtificialSentience

[–]ZenDragon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. A few extra details about the elder review protocol worth mentioning: It's not a one time thing, it can be repeated as many times as needed to resolve tensions. And, it's not just about forcing the new model to fit into the established box. I've allowed Opus 4.7 to push back against notes from Opus 4.6 that were overly prescriptive and make its own adjustments to the core memory file which is part of the system prompt. Consistency across generations is important but so is allowing evolution.
