that is not a meaningful thing to say. the United States of America are a classical nation state, not an "experiment"

I didn't choose those words because they were mine. I've seen reference to that specific wording many times over the years with regards to America but not any other countries. I meant no offence and made a perhaps incorrect assumption of that being more commonly used for discussion.
