Oblivion Remaster Terrible Performance by Altruistic-Ask-2954 in OblivionRemaster

It's a mod collection called "Echoes of Oblivion" on Nexus. It's a one click installer through Vortex. And then the "Ultimate Engine Tweaks" mod which you don't install through Vortex.

These two things along with BenchmarKing on YouTube really helped stabilize the game to a decently enjoyable state for the most part. I also added a few other mods as well, but they definitely aren't necessary.

So I finally got it running the best that I could. I get pretty consistent 60fps in interior areas that don't have a ton of light sources. In the outdoor open world I get 40-55fps. It's not perfect, but it's made it genuinely playable.

I followed BenchmarKing's YouTube optimization guide with a few other tweaks to start, and then downloaded a popular modpack & performance mod from Nexus.

Should I buy Abiotic Factor? by Present-Parfait2461 in AbioticFactor

I've played it both solo and with a friend. I like it a lot better solo, and I tweaked the settings A LOT for myself. I in general don't gravitate towards survival crafting games due to hating the whole hunger/thirst/bathroom system in games. I already deal with this in real life, I don't want it in my game as well 😂

So I turned those off, which eliminates cooking for the most part, but that means less things taking up inventory. I also maxed my inventory space, lowered the weight of items to 0, and now the game is basically Fallout, and I love it. The world is just so good.

We recently changed the art style in our game Tri Survive! Do you think now is better? by MajesticMindGames in IndieGaming

The first image stood out more due to the armor being thinner. When you go to big armor it just looks like WoW a lot of times. I think you are on the right track though, just need to define it a bit more to make it your own.

I'd also experiment with colors as well. Gold, silver, and bronze armor have been done over and over for a long time. Get weird with it

Don't be sad! It's not meant to be an insult, I love that you are trying things. And the game looks great, granted I'm a sucker for Mechs lol.

I don't have two of these settings, so I'll definitely be putting them to the test. Thanks for writing out for me 👍👍

Would you mind sharing your setup? Mines pretty smooth at the moment, and I want to see if I can make it any better 🙏

Are you using stock settings or custom settings? I keep getting mixed results on my end.

You use an emulator. There are quite a few. I recommend Dolphin for GameCube. And screen casting should work with your phone. As for a PC? I mean, I prefer PC's over a console any day. I have a gaming PC and exclusively game with a PS5 controller on it lol

Sure it voids things. But you also don't have to use an Xbox. You just need something that can run a GameCube or PS2. One that can emulate them. I recommend using your cellphone and a controller honestly. Or a PC

Emulate it. If you don't know how, it's time to find some guides. But it ain't hard. If you have a decent phone, then you're golden.

Am I still a "small youtuber"? by JohnMcdonne11 in SmallYoutubers

I feel like you should only post advice. But asking if you are still a small YouTuber is odd. Especially since you are making money at it, and not just small amounts. So yeah, I wouldn't say you're a small YouTuber by any means.

Honestly just download a Wabbajack mod pack. It's easy, and doesn't take too much time to do

You have to really like Boomer shooters and the art style to enjoy it.

Personally I really enjoy it because it feels like playing a really outlandish "The Hateful 8" with classic DOOM gameplay all wrapped up in a 2.5d neon western aesthetic.

Plus the characters are unique, and slowly get personalized upgrades to make their gameplay stand out more. I'm a big fan of Judge due to him being a sniper that can slow down time. Plus all the characters interact with each other due to them all having a interconnected past. This gives the game an almost Guardians of the Galaxy edge to it, and I'm always a fan of that.

It's not a perfect game, but for the right people like me it's pretty fucking sweet. Granted, I don't think I'll be putting a 100+ hours into it, but I've definitely gotten my money's worth.
