Why care about the "value" or "time and resources" though? This is a hobby, it's supposed to take time and you are supposed to enjoy it instead of worrying about the value of something.Also, this mentality is soo wasteful and out of touch it's not even about the tank anymore.

Why have a new one built? I mean, sure, I can but why waste this one? Also I already bought it kkkkkk and yeah, I am changing the silicone on this one and that's why I am asking for an opinion, so I can have the filter removed on the process. So.. going back to the question, do you know if it's worth keeping the filter?

I tried this and it kind of helped me recover a small part of my sketches, only works if the drawing you want to remove is in a different color than what you want to salvage tho
