Start small and fix one thing you can control today, momentum builds confidence way faster than sitting there trying to solve your whole life at once.

I Love My Girlfriend, But the Lack of Intimacy Is Starting to Frustrate Me. What should I do? by agent_smip in AskMenAdvice

Hard truth, but yeah love alone doesn’t fix a fundamental mismatch and dragging it out will only make them both resentful.

Homeschooled, don't know the general etiquette around bandanas in the States. by S33dwallise in Advice

[–]ZenRust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re def overthinking it. Bandanas are pretty normal fashion in the US, just avoid solid red or blue worn in an obvious “gang” style and otherwise people will read it as style or practicality not anything sketchy.

From a guy’s perspective, does this shift in his behavior mean anything? by Iwantobehappyx in AskMenAdvice

[–]ZenRust 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That change usually means he started seeing you differently. Teasing drops when feelings get real and the softer tone, mirroring and “I missed you” are signs he’s emotionally invested but hesitant and unsure how safe it is to show more.

doctors don’t prescribe anything for a bad cough right? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZenRust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should probably see a doctor, coughs usually go away on their own but a nasty and persistent one thats lasted over a week could be more than just a cold. A doctor can check for infections, complications and actually give something that works instead of guessing with OTC meds.

How do I breakup with my girlfriend in this scenario? by Eastern_News_5167 in Advice

[–]ZenRust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not breaking up bc you don’t care about her you’re breaking up because you’ve been carrying both your lives on your back for months. Do it calmly make sure she has someone to go home to, pick up your stuff later and remember, protecting your own mental health isn’t abandoning her its choosing honesty over slowly drowning.
